Olympic Wood Protector Cedar Solid Exterior Wood Stain and Sealer, 1 Gallon

i am completely satisfied with this stain. After we bought our home I started looking for a dark brown stain that didn't look orange after a few months and that didn't cost an arm and a leg. This product fit the bill completely. Satisfied on all counts, color and price. Will be buying again and would recommend to anyone looking for affordable stain options.

Perfect color to match my wood siding and to use on some older wood fences. I bought the same stain in semi transparent for my newer fences. Covers great.

In anticipation of staining my deck, I was nervous as this was my first time project. This stain was easy to apply, dried quickly, and made my deck look great. I highly recommend!

Used this to cover my new deck. I like everything about it. I like the color and ease of use. It dried quickly. When the rain came, the water beaded up nicely. I don't like the "Price". I thought it was way to expensive, but I am not going to use cheap stuff on a brand new deck. One (1) gallon covered almost an entire 12x8 deck. The second galloned finished the job with plenty left over. I would recommend it for new wood or very well preserved would. For anything old or slightly damaged, it too expensive.

I purchased this for a small restoration project on a piece of furniture I converted into a gardening table. The first issue I had was trying to get the product to mix. I had it delivered to home, so I wasn't able to have it premixed at the store. Big mistake, as it took forever for the chemicals to dissolve into each other. I used a cheap sprayer and a brush. I was surprised as to the coverage this product gave. After two coats, there was still plenty. I would have been fine with a pint, not a gallon. It dried very quickly (we live in a warm climate) and overall, I'm happy with the results.

It's decent stain with pretty good coverage. Honestly it lasts about three years as do other products tried on horizontal surfaces before needing replacement. I've yet to find a longer term solution so I gravitate towards the lower cost products.

the think was not the stain is not they have listed on the internet .the one on the internet was good for 10 years on a deck the one you sent was only good for 5 years, Idid not see it till I used it .Harold

Returned item sold to me. Luckily, the gallon of stain did not make a mess for someone as it wasn't resealed well and upside down in the plastic wrap.

Color is light orange. It matched the terrible color that was one the deck from the previous owners. Color on the web shows a dark brown. No I get to find out how to return this. Disappointed
