This is a great laptop stand you can even you use it on your lap. My laptop gets hot- which I doubt is a good thing for my laptop and if it is on my lap it get uncomfortable. This solves all of theses problems. Although made of a firm metal it isn't much thicker than carboard . It lays flat and has great rubber stoppers especially on the bottom so you have no fear of the laptop sliding off. Put it on a table and it stays put. If you are looking for a stand and one you could slip into your briefcase like a piece of carboard this is the one. I have a 17 inch laptop and it sits comfortable no wobbying.

This seemed to arrive just in time, with my husband working at home on his computer, we have to keep it running and this laptop stand saved the day! With sturdy construction that grips the desk, it doesn't slip or slide out of place, it also folds up so it is incredibly easy to pack up with your computer and travel. Though the best feature of this laptop stand is definitely that it keeps the computer elevated so that it stays cooler than lying flat on a desk, for us that was a big plus, keeps the computer running better. This is not a flimsy laptop stand, it is very sturdy and should last a long, long time. And although it is evidently very durable, the weight is light. The only feature that it doesn't have that would be nice, is to have multiple settings rather than just one, that would be better ergonomics for the user. All in all this is a wonderful stand for our laptop and I'm sure my husband will be using it for many years to come.

I love the elevation of your laptop screen. My husband looked like a troll when he was on the computer because he is all scrunched down to see the screen. With this laptop stand he is able to sit up straight and have the screen at the correct height to read & play his games. Great investment (I am going to buy another one so we both will be comfortable while on our laptops)!!

I initially bought this item so I could make sure my laptop had adequate ventilation. Now that I've used it, I really like that the keyboard is on a slant. I can see the letters, numbers, and symbols much better. Also, it added enough height that the monitor is more aligned for better viewing. No more kinks in the neck. It's well made and the laptop sits securely on the frame. I would definitely buy this again if needed.

This stand is okay. Nothing amazing about it. It holds my Chromebook , but the screen needs to be tilted all the way back to see it. Also it can not be on any kind of slick surface because if the laptop moves the stand will close and your computer will slam down.

I bought this because it was made from aluminum and some kind of rubber. Unfortunatly, when folded out, the feet do not stay extended and fold back loosely. Also, the feet to hold the laptop on the stand do not hold the laptop in hold, the laptop (lenovo T14S) just slides over the front, because the bevel is not high enough. Returning to store.
