It does attract my dogs hair quite well, so that's a consideration when having it near electronics. The color is great, no crazy patterns just simple black. I've used memory foam mouse pads for years and love them. The expensive one I've had forever started peeling up on the sides. This one is quite a bit wider on the "pointer" end, and functions just as well as the expensive one (without the name printed on the front!) It's nice and grippy on the desk and a good wrist height.
