Every function works perfectly. I'm getting better radio signal inside than my car does outside. Old technology? Yes. Perfected technology? Also yes. If you need to play that mix tape from 1994 you will not be disappointed. Slightly boring looking.

For the price this item has a lot of features, all of which work. Is the sound quality amazing? No. For $40 you could get a much better bluetooth speaker. However, I mainly bought this to play cassettes. Not going to find a much better brand new cassette player at this price point and I didn't want to fuss with a potentially broken used item. However I find myself also using this as a more portable alternative to my hifi setup to listen to CDs or my phone via bluetooth when in other rooms of the house.

I like to connect my phone to Bluetooth and listen to YouTube Music App. Don't forget it has a cassette recorder. You can record cassettes straight off of YouTube Music App or YouTube with Bluetooth. It's Fun. You can listen to audio books on Libravox app or Libravox.com for free with this Fantastic Onn Radio. Libravox is always free.

I am quite surprised at the quality of this onn boom box. Each of the features work exactly as described in the owner's manual. The quality of sound from these small speakers cannot and does not compare to that of my home theater, but I was not expecting how good it actually is. The FM tuner actually works better than my several hundred dollar AV receiver. The CD deck tracks well, and the cassette player also performs as it should. I wanted a small player I could use in my apartment's bedroom in the early morning hours without disturbing my neighbors. This unit does exactly what I wanted. And at such a low price, too! I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

Tested everything, but it did eat the third tape I put into it. I don't really plan to use the tape deck, it was only a test, so not really important to me. I would NOT recommend this as a tape player. Everything else works. It sounds about how you'd expect a $35 boombox to sound. My rating is taking this insanely low price into account. If it was significantly more expensive I might give a lower rating.

Onn is probably the worst manufacturer I've ever known. All the products I've bought made by Onn have been defective either not working from brand new out of the box or ceasing to function after only a week or so of use. This item was no exception. Brand new out of the box I plugged it into a wall outlet and pushed the power button on it and nothing happened. No lights no noise nothing. It doesn't even power ON which is kind of ironic with the brand being named "Onn.' I tried other outlets and made sure the cord was all the way in the unit to make sure it wasn't a connection issue or a tripped breaker issue and confirmed the unit is just another defective product from Onn. This is the last chance I've given this company. I will never again purchase a product made by Onn no matter how good a deal it might seem to be it's not worth the very highly likely chance that it will be a defective item that stops working within weeks if it even works at all.

Ordered delivery and it arrived timely however, it did not work! I installed the electric cord then tried to plug it into 3 different sockets but it would not play. I am returning it to the store.

I've tried every way possible and there's no way to connect it to Bluetooth. I've thrown the box away, so I don't think I can return it – all that money down the drain! Because I bought it to be able to use it with Bluetooth

The speakers squelch when using the cassette mode. They even squelch when no cassette is playing, just sitting powered up in cassette mode and noise continued. Don't buy .

The cassette player plays at a faster speed which distorts the source material. Also, the cassette control buttons are backwards. The PLAY and FF buttons point left, REV points right, and all other buttons are in reverse position compared to typical cassette layout. This player seems to use a mechanism layout for a “face up” arrangement but is positioned “face out” which flips the whole thing. Very odd. I am returning this item.
