These magnets are about as wide as a dime, but much thicker, and they are POWERFUL! ...If manufactures would've used these on the back of refrigerator magnets, then they would've NEVER fallen from the fridge, no matter how hard you shut the fridge door! I would estimate that each magnet can hold a weight up to about as heavy as four quarters.

Was needing a strong magnet to gorilla glue onto a good size dry erase calendar to put on the fridge. This definitely did the job %26 then some. Yes there's some black powdery substance on them, just rinse em off and dry and you're good.

Nice, strong magnets. I used them to attach picture frames to the side of our fridge. I used 2 magnets for a 5x7 frame and 4 magnets for a lightweight 8x10. Still holding strong after a week! As other reviewers mentioned, there is a strange black powder covering the magnets, but I'm sure it will disappear with time.

These magnets are so convenient to have. I use them to hang recipes in z convenient location while cooking. Anywhere from the fridge to the fan vent over the stove. They are very strong and hold multiple sheets if needed. You could glue flat sided beads to decorate them if desired. I left mine plain.

These are just the right size and strength for my needs. I use them on my magnetic calendar for appointment cards, the refrigerator for the grocery list, the file cabinet for notes. The extras I stick on the inside of the top file drawer. Just the right size, and strong enough to hold several papers, business cards, postcards. Also excellent for crafts. Glue one disc to the back of your design, and voila! The perfect art piece for your fridge!

Strong but a little dirty

Strong magnets! Worked great for what I needed them for.

Small size, but plenty strong. I use them on my white board in my classroom, and they're a good value for low profile, simple magnets.

These are the perfect size for the fridge. and strong enough to hold papers as well. I will purchase again.
