Love the boot - perfect for Canada in that it's Waterproof and Insulated. It can handle our weather. Only comment would be that the mem's sizing is on the small size but the exchange process from a size 10 to a size 11 was very easy to follow, no cost to us, and now we are very happy with our purchase.
Best boots ever very good
Walking 30-45 minutes each day regardless of temperature with my group of seniors. They offer me support and assurance of non-slipping on the crazy snow and ice we've had recently. Wouldn't say stylish but safety is my major concern. Fit 1/2 size big (I normally wear a true 9) but that's ok as you can put in a fuzzy liner for added warmth. Too small means colder feet.
Our son absolutely loves them. After trying different brands (some supposedly are the top ones) of winter boots and coming across Bogs he swears to not ever wear anything else. Apparently these are the only boots that kept his feet warm in Canadian winter.
If you are a woman with bunions, men's sizes are perfect width without being ungainly. Had to return and order up a size, though, as these boots generally run small. These boots are warm, breathable and keep your feet dry. I use them in all seasons for farm chores.
They're great. Fit well and no trouble sliding on and off. I've been through semi deep snow and mud and nothing sticks. Absolutely waterproof but not sure about the soft upper, I think it is as well. They feel a little clunky at first, but rugged, like a Jeep. Obviously the opening leaves room for snow and rain to get in a bit, but still keeps enough out to not soak anything. I saw a review calling these the male UGGs and I felt a little strange putting them on the next day... but they're great for taking the dog through sloppy countrysides and getting through the sloppy city sidewalks in Minneapolis.
I researched many boots and decided on Bogs based on it being a local company, the reviews of the boot and the look and feel of the boots. I need a grippy boot for yard work as not to slip down the steep incline in my yard. The traction is really why I bought myself a pair for Christmas.
I have always loved bogs. They are amazing boots that are waterproof and very comfortable and warm! I unfortunately got a size too big.. I thought size 10 would fit but they were just a little bit too big. Hence the reason I rated this a 2 out of 5, otherwise I would have given this a 5 out of 5 for sure.
Been a size 9 for many years. Bought these because they are insulated and I can't wear them any longer. After just 1 week of use, my heels are completely scaped sore from the heel bed - and lack there of - in these boots. Poor design. Out of money. And out of boots now.
Malfunctioned after a few weeks of use. Phoned Customer Services but was told I could have a refund but not a repair or replacement. Problem is that its much more expensive now as it was on a better offer when I bought it so after the refund I'll be quite significantly out of pocket if I wanted another - not impressed as it appears that they want to give you your money back rather than try to provide you with the working item you paid for.
