Orbit 1/2" Drip-Lock Hose Faucet Adapter for Drip Irrigation Installation

The Orbit Irrigation drip lock hose adapter is the perfect tool to keep that annoying drip from the spicket . It very very simply to install and feels very durable. The one end attaches to the spicket itself where the other side is attached to the hose. Definitely like the fitment and keeps water from dripping out.

This 1/2" cap is used to close off any line of 1/2" tubing. The garden hose thread cap unscrews for clean-out or draining of the line. This Drip-Lock removable/reusable fitting is for low pressure 1/2" poly tubing. The oversized seal and durable gripping teeth will hold almost any brand of half inch poly tubing.

This coupling is just what I needed to connect my hose bib and my drip-irrigation hose. I am determined to not let my plants die this summer! Super easy to use - just stick the irrigation line into the end of the coupling (brown end), where the little teeth grab it and hold it in, then screw onto the faucet. No plumbing or sprinkler experience needed! I feel like this will last, it feels pretty sturdy and the irrigation line is stuck very well into the connection part. My plants are going to be very well-hydrated this year!

I attached this and thought it might be hard to fit on there perfectly but I had no problems putting it on. The fit is perfect and it works just fine. It was very easy to install. I would definitely recommend this product.

Since our hot, sunny environment puts pinholes in poly tubing, had a lot of experience in cutting open tubing and rejoining at a leak. The cheaper fittings tend to blast open. Not these, just put em on and forget em. Disclosure, Wally asked for this review, and offered compensation. But this is really how I feel about these.

"It looked like a good adapter and the price was right. However, the 1/2"" hose I had did not fit snugly in the adapter; I believe it would slip right out of the adapter with water pressure. The adapter might probably work for another brand of tubing but not mine."

Works like it should. No leaks. Fixed my broken hose so I didn't have to buy a whole new hose. Nice handy product to keep around for future repairs. I will purchase a few more. I will tell my friends about them.

I was not happy after first day it broke. It was seemingly ok when I recieved it but when I went out to the faucet it was har dot thread in but it did eventually get there. But when I turned the water on it cracked leaking all over the wall. I may have gotten an odd one that was weaker because it seemed nicely made when I got it.

I fiddled with this for 15 minutes. The idea seems sound, but no matter how I pressed my 1/2” tubing in or rotated it or sawed it back and forth, it could not grip the hose and came straight off. Maybe it only works with Orbit brand tubind, but definitely not every brand.
