8-Port Adjustable Manifold

This little manifold is the best way to convert a 1/2 inch sprinkler head to a micro-irrigation port. If your sprinkler is on a 1/2 inch pipe, simply unscrew the sprinkler head, apply new Teflon thread tape to the threads of the pipe, and screw on this manifold. Then get a roll of 1/4 inch irrigation tubing to run from each of the 8 ports (or the ones you want to use). If you have difficulty pushing the 1/4 inch tubing in place, just heat it gently with a flame or a blow dryer on high heat. Heat it just enough to be pliable and itll push right on. The 8 black heads on top can be opened more or less to control flow. By the way, if you want to raise the manifold above ground level thats easy to do with an extender or by replacing the short pipe that you are screwing into with a slightly taller one. It only took 2 of these 8 port manifolds to irrigate both of these raised beds plus all 3 hanging baskets with ports to spare. I did it with a package of assorted 1/4 inch micro-misters and sprinklers and a little over 100 feet of 1/4 inch tubing.

I have at least 6 installed in my backyard. It is cheaper than buying in Amazon.

Worked well for small flower bed and veggie patch.

There is a center port on the item which blew out flooding a large area before we could get the water shut off. Fortunately we were home when that happened. We couldn’t find the piece that failed so we couldn’t determine why this happened. Returned it for credit. Seems like a weak link in what otherwise was a well designed manifold. Found a Rain Bird similar design which is functioning well.
