I disliked that my rose hip oil bottles cap was broken, and some leaked out in the package, other than that I still have enough to experiment with.

Rosehip oil is supposed to be a golden color, like the picture. It's not gold at all. It's just clear and has no smell. Highly disappointing.

Rose oil typically has a mild rose fragrance and is Amber colored. This oil has no fragrance at all. It's completely clear. I don't know what this oil is but I don't think it's rose oil or rose hip seed oil. $14 is too much to pay for fake oil. It's interesting though that the advertisement shows an amber colored oil when that's not what was shipped.

I bought this hoping for an alternate to the olive oil I use almost every day as part of my skin routine. I'm not sure this is actual rosehip seed oil, though. It smells like old olive oil and sits on the skin with a shiny, wet oil feel. There is no woody or earthy scent. The color is light yellow with a greenish hue.
