i make the whole bag with celery and diced tomatoes and onion. i store two cup servings in glass containers in freezer so i can use as needed without having to cook each time. lentils are one of the healthiest foods.

I use the lentils for sprouting. I can tell that those lentils sprout very well. I only eat lentils sprouted as I can digest them better.

I thought it would be greener.

I saw the delivery driver pull up and scratched my head a bit. The purchase I made was late last night, anyway I opened the bag a was really surprised and happy. The bag you see above doesn't do justice for the way the bag I got looked. I thought it might be around 4-6 normal size bags you get at the grocery store. This bag of lentils is huge! I don't think I'll be needing to buy more for some time. I'm very pleased with my purchase and the excellent customer service provided by both Walmart and seller!

Yummy, easy to cook, and good texture. It is difficult to find organic lentils and these are fine!

It is a good quality organic product containing a lot of protein

These are exceptional. I was never all that fond of lentils, but the petite French green lentils are a different story. I make a soup with 1/4 c chopped onions sauteed in a few tablespoons of olive oil, add 4 cups vegetable broth, 2 bay leaves, 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, 1 cup of green lentils, 1 sliced carrot, and juice of half a lemon. Don't leave out the lemon!

I love that these are organic and keep my body alkaline. I admit that I haven't spent a lot of time comparing prices, so I don't know how they compare in terms of cost. However, I have purchased from this company before and likely will continue to purchase lentils in bulk.

I am using these lentils not only for fresh sprouts, which are very tasty, but also to make fresh lentil pasta. Lentil pasta is so very good, I highly recommend and even better when it's homemade! As ever I receive the finest product from Food to Live, they are always my first choice. Thank you as ever!
