Original Formula Porters Liniment Salve 2 oz, Pack of 1

My parents would put this on whtever mishaps came about for us as kids... Bee stings, minor cuts, scrapes, road rash from a bike crash...basically anything that a band-aid would be used for, this was usually applied to the bandage part of the band-aid %26 then the band-aid put directly on the injured area. I'm surprised this product is still made. I found it at a local pharmacy several years ago %26 bought a can, but seem to have misplaced it in the last year or so. Each can should last several years, unless your kid is like Evel Knievel. Very excited that I found it online, as I had an infected hangnail that got pulled too short. I thought, "Well, this would be a great time to have some Porter's Salve in a cabinet!"... went online...and here we are! Extremely High-rated product! Ten Stars! (If there WAS such a thing!)

VERY GOOD PRODUCT. MY FAMILY HAS USED THIS PRODUCT FOR YEARS.

This has been used in my family for at least a hundred years. The best old remedy for sores of any kind. My grandmother swore by it as did my Mother and myself. My father was a horseman, if a horse was lame, he would clean out hoof, apply handfuls of the salve inside hoof, wrap and tie burlap around horse leg. Leaving it on overnight. The horse would heal and within a couple days be well. I put it on my dog which had been bit by dog attack, her wounds healed quickly! My children would scrape knees, elbows, cat scratches etc. When the salve is Apple's it numbs pain as well as heal. I am Canadian, it Canda it was called Rundles Salve. I was thrilled to find it under the current name, as my Mother in Canada would sent it to me in the States. My two married daughters would borrow my tin constantly when there were any skin issues with their kids. Wonderful product, The Rundels recipe changed a tiny bit when sold but Porters still has the basic properties and smell of the original.
