Ortho Dial N Spray for Liquid Weed or Insect Killer, 16 oz.

Exactly what Hubby wanted and needed. This type of item was a little tricky to find. My husband found a couple at Lowe's but they were not very well made and did not have a dial that would adjust the product used with the hose. He needed one with the dial on it to adjust what he is doing. So glad we found the Ortho one.

This is a nice size sprayer bottle. I really like being able to use it attached to the hose, my hands aren't very strong and this is just so much easier to use. I really like the variable mixture adjustments you can make depending on what the product you're using recommends.

This is the best garden sprayer that I have found. I like it because it also saves you money, since you can use the concentrated liquids such as insecticide, fungicide, fertilizer, etc. It has an adjustment dial so that you can set the sprayer to the recommended application rate listed on the bottle - for example, 1 tsp, 1 TBS, 1 oz. etc. No more pouring and mixing into watering cans or sprayers. I own several since I don't want to use the sprayer with something else after I have used insecticide or weed killer.

i was using a one gallon, pump tank until i came across hose end sprayer. what would normally take me a half of a day, pumping and refilling, you can get the job done in under an hour. highly recommend this sprayer

it's the best of a bad lot. if you want a more reliable and consistent item like this to mix water and chemical, then you'll probably need to spend real money, not $17. after a few years the previous one (exact same model) wouldn't work at all and this is the replacement, I have been through several of these over the years and they all are inconsistent but this one is marginally better than some others

Spray pattern options are very good %26 coverage adjustment is good, they could have done better on attachment threads for jar to sprayer with easy start threads.

It gets clogged up and you have to clean out the little filter but that's fairly easy to do. there's not a whole lot of directions so dialing in on what you need is a little tough unless you already know. I like it better than the spray bottles.

Worked great for the first 2 years. This is the 3rd season and the suction screen is plugged and won't pick up the chemical. I clean it after every use but over time the screen gets plugged and I had to toss it and buy a new one. I am disappointed I can not find any parts and hate to have to toss it after a season or 2.

If you're careful it will do the job but seems like it is going to break. It does occasionally leak. Biggest issue I have with it now is the sprayers used to come with a long, flexible, weighted siphon tube so the weight always went to the low part of the jar where the liquid would be, great feature and made it to overlook bad features. The new ones don't have that. Instead, have a very stiff tube a little long for it to bend but doesn't go to a corner and it has a guard on the bottom that lifts it above the bottom of the jar. Means you need at least 1/4" of liquid before it can draw. waste of liquid.

The old sprayer would last at least a couple of years this new one didn't even last one use. The handle separated where the red plastic top meets the hose end which caused it to stop spraying out of the nozzle. It sprayed out of the broken handle instead.
