Osem Consomme Soup Mix, 14.1 oz

I use this product in almost all of my soup recipes. It's great in Spanish rice, potatos, I used it as a base to make vegan stuffing, vegetable soup, stir fry, and also in chili. I've used it on any recipe that required the use of a stock. It's a great product can be used to make vegetarian and vegan dishes as well because it's fee of animal protein it's also free of MSGs.

This is a great product and very versatile. I sometimes add a few spoonful to a pot of soup if it needs a bit more flavor. I use it to make a cup of broth to drink. Sometimes I'll add some leftover noodles or vegetables and make a fast bowl of soup. Have used it for years, always with good results.

I will no longer order this item for delivery, it was shipped to me and I wasn't home when it arrived. My neighbor took it so it wouldn't be stolen and forgot to give it to me for a month. When I opened it, both containers had been smashed open with the contents dumped inside the box. Huge mess when I opened it. I had to throw it away. If you order this item, order it for pickup.

Excellent service from the company very friendly young lady. Thank you for hiring good people… hopefully she becomes my regular delivery person because I do plan to continue ordering more from Walmart.

Arrived with the top off, seal broken, and the contents all over the package.

Purposes I use this for 1. for soups 2. seasoning 3. gravy My favorite thing to do with this is use it to make my own seasonings. Today I made a Cajun (variant) Seasoning. I use an old large seasoning container. I add 1 of each of these small great value items onion powder garlic powder --- 1/2 of these great value seasonings paprika 1/2 smoked paprika 1/2 Italian seasoning --- I use 1/2 the container of Consomme 3 tbsp of cornstarch 3 tbsp of pepper sometimes white sometimes black --- sometimes i add an already prepared seasoning. today I used Slap yo mama Cajun seasoning. so I can make Cajun butter chicken ---- my last seasoning was the same as above minus paprika and smoked paprika. I added Cavenders Greek seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning. this is a great way to create your own all purpose seasoning --- this is a staple in my seasoning cabinet. prior I only used Maggi. but Maggi is hard to come by in larger volumes and became too expensive. this is affordable and can be used for many things. it's also great for making your own 🍜 ramen broth. Delicious Affordable Sturdy Container (you'll need a scoop, it doesn't always pour well from the container) --- oh 1 other thing I do with this. I blend up my raw veggies onions peppers scallions parsley cilantro tomatoes etc, add a little oil and a drop of vinegar and some water to blend then I add the consomme (I never measure) then I pour in to a LARGE 6 cavity silicone mold, you can use an ice tray, freeze, remove and place into a Ziploc bag. I have instant marinades ready for my meats or I can even drop them in soups and spaghetti 🍝

This soup mix is pure magic! It adds amazing flavor to everything — whether you're making soup, sauces, or any kind of prepared dish. Just a spoonful makes such a difference! The taste is rich and delicious, and it really enhances every recipe. The price is also incredible — it's the best deal I've found anywhere! Highly recommended for anyone who loves great flavor in their cooking.

Helps with soups, if you don't have any stock. It is salty and has MSG, but it does make life easier.

We love this consomme. We use it instead of bouillon for broth ti drink or cooking. It's become a staple at our house.

My go-to vegan pantry staple for all kinds of recipes. Tastes very close to chicken broth but is vegan. Add a teaspoon to marinades for extra flavor.
