Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Dry Recipe Soup and Dip Mix, 2 Oz, 2 Pack

Although we don't consume it in its soup form, we use this product often in our turkey and chicken burgers. Online you can find recipes for meatloaf, but that's not what we like. We like to use it simply mixed with ground turkey or chicken and then the burgers are cooked. It gives them great flavor. Apparently "Lipton onion soup burgers are a classic, ultra-flavorful staple". And this "all-in-one seasoning " just gives the meat great flavor. (Thanks mother for teaching me this is childhood!)

I use Lipton Onion Soup mix on top of my chuck roast along with cream of mushroom soup. I put it all on my roast and add my potatoes, onions and carrots 1/2 through my baking time. And of course I make a dip with it and sour cream. I usually order 2 boxes when I buy groceries. Love it!!

I keep a supply in my pantry because this is so versatile. We aren't big soup people, but I use this in casseroles and it's just the right amount of onion for a dip with whatever crackers you decide works best for your occasion. I can make hamburger steaks with the contents of the package which is great for a gravy to go along with it. The level of spice is also just right, and the texture sure makes it all come together, making a yummy meal possible without breaking the bank!

This is a staple in my home and was with our mom growing up %26 still using it age of 91 uses include for one of few additions to her meatloaf recipe as quick seasoning among fresh onions tomato sauces. Package makes good soup or the go to easy dip one package added to 16oz tub of sour cream for a quick dip if company pops in without a call or text (these days). Highly recommend you try it as a really convenient item to keep on hand in ur pantry. Lipton brand is a but more expensive than Great Value brand. but I splurge on it. Or do 1/2 GV %26 half Lipton Onion soup. I do know for a fact Walmart price on Lipton is currently 50 cents cheaper than that grocery store starts w letter K in the TN. :)

As far as I'm concerned, Onion soup mix, be it Lipton or Great Value, is a necessity in the kitchen. It's a multitasker. Yes, it makes a good soup and a delicious dip, but it's also good in meatloaf, on chicken, in rice with mushrooms %26 cream of mushroom soup as a side dish. If you can use onions with it, this soup mix will make it better.

This is a must-have in my house. We use it all the time for so many things. It is great for adding flavor to meat. It also makes the best dip when you mix it with sour cream. Just keep in mind that it is high in sodium, so a little goes a long way if you are watching your salt! Still, I love keeping this 2-pack ready in my cupboard.

I use the Onion Soup mix and the Beefy Onion soup mix to enhance flavors when cooking. I use either one on hamburger Pattie's. I use a 9x13 pan and put a sliced onion on the bottom and 6 hamburger Pattie's on top of that. I sprinkle the Onion Soup mix on the Pattie's and add another small onion on top. I cube potatoes and add them and another vegetable sprinkled around the pan. Mix up A-Jus sauce and put on top, to give some liquid. Cover pan with foil and bake for an hour. It is a perfect one pan meal. You could add a different vegetable instead of cubed potatoes and then serve mashed potatoes on the side. Onion Soup mix is good for a lot of dishes like this.

I needed to buy this for a recipe for a baked chicken meal. Now that we tried it, it's a must have. It improved the taste of the chicken more than anything else I've used. I'll try it on beef as well. It's a very, very simple addition to spice things up. I didn't find it to be too salty; just extremely flavorful. It would also be perfect for a dip.

This seasoning is great on roast, burgers. soups. and even I have made a broth for a cold to open up my nasals to breath. OMG! I keep this as I've gotton so many compliments on my roast. of course, I take full credit. I even use it in squash, no other seasonings needed. SIGNED the seasoning STALKER. LOL

Great product- love the recipes on the boxes %26 I keep at least 2 boxes on hand at all times. (The onion roasted potatoes are really good %26 you actually can make it easier in one pan. Put the oil %26 onion soup mix in the casserole dish, add potatoes %26 stir/coat well %26 bake.) Works well to season other dishes as well.
