McCormick No Artificial Flavors Onion Gravy Seasoning Mix, 0.87 oz Packet

I used the gravy in my pan after frying steaks. I used the same to sauté fresh onion and mushrooms in a little butter. It made for a delicious tasting gravy over mashed potatoes. The whole family loved it. I would definitely buy again. It was the perfect thickness and tasted great.

Made hamburger steak with onions and gravy with this, and it tastes almost identical to what I used to get when I was younger and when mixed into the same pan with the hamburger steak it picks up the bits from the pan and no one can tell that I had help with the seasoning packet.

I like to mix a pack of this gravy with another McCormick gravy such as the mushroom when I prepare meat in my slow cooker. I mix two packets with one and a half cups of broth or water as whatever is cooking will produce more liquid. If I find the gravy too thin after cooking I simply mix in another gravy packet to thicken it and end up with a more robust flavor.

McCormick Onion Gravy Seasoning Mix is quick and easy to use. It is full of flavor! We used it on our stew beef and mashed potatoes. My family thought it was homemade. I dont think I will tell them any different. LOL

I love all McCormick seasonings and gravy mixes, but this one is special. I used it on top of homemade meatloaf and the family loved it. We also used it the next day on meatloaf sandwiches, and wow!

I usually make my gravy from scratch but this mix is good in a pinch. This particular onion gravy is VERY onion forward and even has bits of onion which I am personally not a fan of. Surprisingly it was not very salty, which I think it needed a bit more salt. I paired it with mashed potatoes and the onion flavor was very strong. I probably would not repurchase this flavor but would try others.
