"Salty" was one of the questions asked in the compilation of the ratings - it was found to be not overly salty. Overall a recommended product for its ability to be used in diverse ways.

I just wish that these could be a little cheaper. It's a can of soup, and the prices are getting crazy! This is our go-to brand that I use for our favorite Stroganof reciepe!

Campbell's French Onion Soup is so versatile. I always use this over my chuck roast, carrots and potatoes when I make an old-fashioned Pot Roast. This provides a wonderful flavor. I dilute it with a can or two of water. Family favorite. Warms the house %26 smells good too.

French Onion soup by Campbells is the best soup ever! My mom uses it and I love it and my daughter makes dinner with it! I told my best friend Dee Dee how to cook using this soup! I make a chuck roast with this soup and it makes the best gravy ever! Take the can of soup and add flour half way or more in the can and add water and mix it and pour it in the pot with the chuck roast! Add two more cans of water and put your oven on 350 for 3 hours and then you will have the best chuck roast ever! Throw flour on your face to appear like you worked so hard on that meal! lol add potatoes near the end or cook some rice and make a vegetable! It's delicious and easy peasy! God bless ya

I loved the flavor and the multi use formula!! Not too salty like other brands. Very nice if you love slow cooker meals like my family!!

I used this as broth on a roast. The roast came out excellent. The broth off of the roast, when I used it to make soup, was so salty that it was almost unusable. I won't be repurchasing.
