I am 86 and make a dish with wides noodles my mother made, noodles with some lactaid cottage cheese, cinammon and sweet and low instead of sugar its almost like a noodle kugel but loose and I love it for supper and get quite a few meals out of it which helps my no budget on SS
Good product I buy three or four bags at a time you can use these chicken noodle soup. You can use them as chicken and dumplings. You can use them as two and a helper make your own tuna helper, instead of paying the high price for tuna helper, it’s very good product.
We love these egg noodles , they always come out perfect, whether you’re eating buttered noodles with Parmesan or making a casserole. I use these for fried cabbage and noodles, they come out perfect. They have an awesome consistency. They’re not mushy. Couldn’t ask for a better price.. quality product.
I prefer using egg noodles for poultry soups and casseroles, for the added texture, flavor and appearance. A great value. I usually use chicken and stock, a can of tomatoes, carrots, onion and a couple of bay leaves. sometimes celery. Salt and pepper to taste.
Great Value Wide Egg Noodles are a fantastic pantry staple that I always like to keep on hand. They cook up quickly and have a wonderful texture—tender without becoming mushy. The wide noodles are perfect for a variety of dishes, from hearty chicken noodle soup to beef stroganoff and simple buttered noodles. I was impressed with how well they held their shape during cooking and how easily they absorbed flavors from sauces and broths. The mild egg noodle taste complements just about any recipe and makes homemade meals feel comforting and satisfying. The 16-ounce bag provides plenty of servings for family dinners, and the price is hard to beat. Compared to more expensive brands, I found the quality to be just as good, making these an excellent value for the money. Whether you're preparing a quick weeknight meal or a classic comfort-food recipe, these noodles deliver consistent results every time. Great taste, great texture, and a great price—I will definitely keep buying them!
These wide egg noodles are a cheap and reliable pantry staple that holds up beautifully in hot dishes. They cook up tender and not too chewy, making them ideal for comfort meals like beef stroganoff or homemade chicken noodle soup. For such a low price, they easily match the quality and taste of the more expensive name brands.
I love egg noodles much more so than just regular other pasta. They don’t get soggy in your meal and hold up well to sauces by that I mean that they absorb the sauce without becoming limp and soggy they are great in casserole as well as making Alfredo dishes and the like
These are quality noodles at a great price. I see no reason to buy name brand. I use them for beef and noodles and sometimes just stir in a little butter to the just cooked noodles. They heat well in the microwave after cooking. Texture is up to the cook! I like mine a little firm, not squishy, They hold this consistency even after refrigerating left overs. The flavor is just fine. I add just a little salt to the water while they are boiling.
I reviewed these a long time ago and gave them a bad review based on the fact there was always this sandy grit when I ate them. It turns out it was all the paprika in that same recipe. So I'm here to set the record straight. These are good noodles !
Just so-so.......taste was like paste smells. Maybe I'm used to Italian or higher grade pasta. I should have spent the extra money and bought some. It really makes a difference. My mistake, I won't buy again. BUT...........I'm grateful for the food on my plate!
