If you love French dip air jus sandwiches, mix this as the direction indicates, mix in a pound of roast beef (I use the prepackaged roast beef lunch meat), and let this cook in a slow cooker, instant pot on slow cooker, or on the stove on just slightly above low. On buns layer the meat on (I prefer) provolone cheese, and serve with a small cup of the juice. I take this to family reunions and any get together and everyone thinks I spend so much time making it, and it literally takes 5 minutes.

I've been using McCormick Au Jus Gravy mix for years. It's very versatile. It can be used as intended as a sauce / dip. I like to dissolve it in a few Tbsps warm water and knead into my meatloaf along with minced onions and garlic and breadcrumbs before baking for a change in flavor. The fam loves it!! This McCormack Au Jus gravy is exceptionally useful -- roast beef is a delicious family meal, and, if slow roasted at 225F, a cut like beef tenderloin will be the same desired degree of doneness throughout. But if one reheats the beef, it will cook more and loose its rare-to-medium rare doneness. Therefore, heat the McCormack Au Jus gravy and pour hot gravy over the room temp beef -- wonderful !!!

I learned this trick from an influencer.,,,,, Use this over really lean ground meat to add some great flavor to very healthy meat. It is just delicious. Everyone asks why my ground meat tastes so good. This is why. Add to ground meat right after you finish browning with a little water.

I have always been a huge love of french dip sandwiches and the Au Jus dipping sauce is a key ingredient to a french dip. I'm not one to plan out meals in advanced or put a lot of time or effort into preparing dinner. And I really do not have the time to be cooking all day. So I have to look for easy alternatives and this McCormick seasoning mix is definitely one of them. I love the convenience and how fast you are able to make the gravy. And the flavor is excellent. It really makes my homemade french dip sandwiches to the next level. Now that I'm writing this review and thinking about a french dip sandwich and this McCormick gravy mix I really want one. Definitely have to buy more and make them this weekend.

Great tasting for convenience when no time to make from scratch great for beef dips or just add a bit of extra flavor dip your roast in it or add to a sauce to give nice meaty flavor add to pantry comes in handy in a pinch when cooking up something in a hurry

I get several servings from one packet. I make just enough for one "French dip" at a time. That all I use it for. I'm sure it would be great with other things, but I know its perfect with my favorite sandwich. Sooo GOOD. I dip my french fries in it too.

Preparation is as easy as it can be but the taste is a little salty for me. However, I have found this au jus nice to have for making French Dip sandwiches with left over Prime Rib Roast. I reduce the suggested water and replace that amount with Beef Stock to improve the flavor.
