Osem 14.1 oz Consomme Natural Soup Mix

Ive used this for years in cooking. The packaging is a great format, instant chicken broth by the spoonful. I use it to add flavor instead of salt when cooking chicken, vegetables, or poaching any meat. Soup base .. very flexible always have it in the kitchen.

I have used this Consomme for many years %26 have to say it is the best . You do not have to add salt with this but it is not to salty either. The taste is always consistant %26 it does not clump up in the container or in what ever you are cooking or mixing it with . I add it to many different dishes to pump up the flavor.

This is a great product for soups, especially homemade. I have been using it for years. When I don't feel good, I make it as is w/o adding anything to it. Otherwise I add a scoop to my homemade soups. Goes well with soup crackers.

Bought for a specific recipe and now I love a hot cup of broth when it's cold or just not hungry or when I'm sick.

Yes it's salty and when I add it to dishes I adjust the salt in the recipe (or skip it altogether) but I love that it's loose powder, much prefer it to cubes of stock. I add it to most dishes, I even add to the water when I cook potatoes for mash. Wouldn't be without it

Very good and tasty! My only suggestion is to better secure the top of the container (perhaps with scotch tape) because when it's shipped, the lid often falls off easily. As a result, the product spills all over the shipping box, which makes it unusable.

It's a good product however i gave 3 starts because the item was damaged. The seller is sending damaged product or the items is getting damaged during the chipping.

2nd time offering this and the container was opened/damaged. The contents were spilled out into the outer boxer both times. The stores don't carry it anymore, so you can only order this online; I DO NOT recommend.
