Oster Diamondforce Indoor Smokeless Grill

It's the best indoor grill I've ever owned!

Easy to use, but took us hour and a half to put the lid together! Need better instructions and a longer screw to hold handle. Like convenience to cook indoors rather than going out in heat or cold or dark to cook burgers. Also would be helpful if drip pan was non stick to be easier to clean.

I had been thinking about buying one of these since last Christmas, and my hunch was correct. They are a lifesaver! It's often too hot to turn the stove/oven on here in TN in the summer and this has made cooking dinner so much easier and cooler for our family.

It was like I was using an outdoor grill without all the extra work. It's very easy to clean and setting it up was even easier. I didn't see any smoke and I love this grill.

These are Christmas presents so the only thing I can say is that they can early and look good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oster Indoor Smokeless grill actually does a pretty good job. I had my doubts with all of the pieces and with my struggle to assemble the lid's handle (my son was able to put it together). I also thought that it would dry out the chicken breasts and country steaks I placed on it. Nope, the water at the bottom prevented this. Now I will say that I do not like how the lid does not lay flush in a groove on top. It just kind of lays there and can slide around. Clean up was pretty easy, even though you will have to clean about 4 parts. I sprayed the griddle with cooking oil and that helped a bit. Overall, I will be using it again. :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is no different than using a George Foreman grill. In some ways, it is actually worse because you can really press down the meat. After sous viding some meat, I decided to grill it here than whipping out the grill, torching it in the backyard, or searing it on a pan. Since the temperature cannot exceed 470 degrees, it is not a good alternative. Also, it did not evenly sear. So, I would just recommend it for maybe cooking burgers, but it will take longer (and the juices may dry out).

Does not cook interior of meat and is cheaply made with materials that would be uncleanable after several uses.

Parts meant to attach handle to top do not fit! Tried many many times to put it together. The screw is TOO SHORT. Will not work! I'm returning it.

Received this grill as a Christmas gift. Attaching the knob to the lid should have been an easy task, but it was anything but. After an hour of frustrating attempts to attach the handle to the lid (the pieces provided were ridiculously small,) we thought we almost had it. Then the knob broke. Apparently there are no replacement parts available for this product, which is unfortunate. Oster really should sell this product with the lid already assembled, or at least provide replacement parts. We do NOT recommend this product. Ours is going in the trash.
