Oster One-Touch Blender, 8-Cup Smoothie Blender

Has more than enough power for my salsa blending needs! Had to say goodbye to my starter Oster blender after many years of lots of use. Many of my friends complained about the capabilities of the Ninja blender so I decided to stick to Oster and was glad I did!

This pitcher is glass, which I like and prefer. No plastics for me! It also has a large capacity pitcher that can hold a lot of fresh fruits and veggies ingredients. I can serve a lot of people. Surprise smoothie automatic pulse is great. This blender is a good value and appears to be pretty high quality. It should last a long time.

Oster has it all together with the 8 cup smoothie blender. It is very easy to use and easy to clean up when finished with each blend. The power is outstanding and does a quick job. I am very pleased with the Oster performance.

Great for making large batches of salsa, glass container cleans up nicely without lingering odors or stains often experienced with plastic containers.

I bought this for smoothies because it has a special button for that and it works great. I like that it's glass but it is pretty big and heavy compared to others. I think it will be great when we use it to make margheritas for parties but for smoothies alone I'd go smaller and lighter.

Not high performance but does as advertised smoothies,salsa ,not quick or great with frozen fruit better with fresh,not for heavy kitchen use for other chores,but if you want it for smoothies it's adequate

This burnt out on first use of a vegetable soup puree. Nothing hard to blend since all veggies were cooked and soft. Terrible quality. Returned it immediately.

The unit smelled like burnt wiring so I contacted Oster directly. They sent a replacement. The replacement wiring started smoking and quit working. I have not bothered to return this one, just going to change brands. This is dangerous and unsafe. Walmart should pull this item off the shelves.

this thing is absolutely terrible. worst appliance I've ever bought. smells like burning plastic when in use. struggled to blend soft roasted butternut sqaush with coconut milk. cannot blend crushed ice. super worried that there is melted plastic in my food, but I have no other options ready for dinner. my kids are inhaling plastic because my whole house smells like it. this happened with the crushed ice, too. i wanted a glass pitcher, but this is not worth it. not just disappointed, but mad because of the health risk to my family.

WEAK motor. It smells like it's burning after 10 seconds of use on high. Pitcher moves on the base when turned on, I have to hold it to prevent it from turning. The only upside is the glass carafe. My ninja broke because the plastic carafe deteriorated on the bottom after 3 years of use.
