Easy to use. Load up your individual portions of ice or fruit or veggies for your own generous serving of something delicious. Easy to control by pressing and releasing the power button. Pulsing and shaking the blender keeps the contents in contact with the cutters and eliminates any jams. If you want crushed ice make sure you add enough liquid to form a slurry that keeps moving while blending. My wish, now that I have had it for a while, is for an extra container that would making multiple concoctions to order for different people easier to do. It's a blender. It makes lots of noise. I could complain but that is pointless. However, it does the job quickly which gets the noisy part over with in less time. Easy to clean. Stainless steel blades don't rust. Just rinse and it's ready for the next use

i got this a couple of days ago. I've put chunks of frozen fruit, ice cube, yogurt, milk and fresh fruit in it with no problems. if it stalls you need to add more liquid- juice, water or milk. i like the convenience. it makes up to 20 ounces. kids love it. better than the $6 smoothie. i like that the blender blade comes off and you cap it with the drinking part. easy to clean

We had our first version for 4-5 yrs. It was when they came with a blue or pink bottle and a lid. I bought another one online when we finally wore it out and someone gave us a ninja juicer. The ninja was junk! The rubber gasket kept coming undone and wrapping up in the motor and juice would go all over the cabinet. Replaced that one again and the second did the same thing after a couple of months and I threw it away! But the Oster! I will have forever and hope they never stop making it. It's reliable and pure quality! Trusted everytime. Sharp blades and powerful. My wife even uses it to grind up dry oats before using it in certain recipes which I'm sure is completely off label. The design of this machine is tough. It works and we love it.

Awesome for my daily health. Very quick and easy. I transfer the contents into a glass and thoroughly rinse the parts ASAP for reuse the next day. Soy milk, one or 2 ice cubes, frozen fruit, half banana, and high protein yoghurt. Very powerful. The design is perfect!

Love the size of the container to drink from when making smoothies.

Bought this blender because I knew of the brand. LOVE it. Someone else later gave me one of those blenders they advertise doing the blending at a beach, parks, etc....Totally useless. BUY OSTER! My sister asked me for a reference and she bought the Oster...she now makes smoothies for breakfast every workday.

The blender works fine, but we were expecting that the base would be interchangeable with the old drink containers, but it is NOT! We have four blue containers from the old one that are now useless. Now, the four of us will have to clean out one container before the next person uses the one container that comes with it, or wait until it comes out of the dishwasher. I suppose the company will now offer the new container with the slightly different-sized mouth available for us to purchase. In addition, the new lid is cheaper quality and looks like it will easily crack. it has a little wrist strap instead of the nice grab and go sturdy handle on the old containers. This newer version is not an improvement.

Not as good as it's predecessor, which I owned for a few years. For a few weeks it was good enough to get used to, but then the plastic nubs on the bottom of the blend attachment wore off and crumbled away with very light use. Useless after 6 weeks. I upgraded to one of the better $50~ brands.
