Othello, Strategy Classic 2-Player Family Board Game, for Ages 7+

I have a love/hate with this purchase. Let's get the hate out of the way first. There's a sticker on the box stating the MRP for this item is $5.92; I paid $26.23. :/ The quality of the materials is an example of "they don't make things like they used to", definitely not worth $26. Now for the love. I have had a difficult life, but this simple board game has brought me a little peace in the past, before my daughter was born. She's 22 now, and we spend quality time trying to out strategize each other. She said, "Othello; the game you don't want to be losing in the first 2 minutes or you'll be losing the next 2 hours." The games don't take that long, but she is silly because the whole time she thinks she's going to lose, then she ends up winning. It's a great way to lighten the mood and spend time together. I could have bought a less expensive game, but Othello is nostalgic for me, and easy for my daughter to set up and play, even if she doesn't feel up to doing anything. I recommend the game, not the price.

I love sharing this game I loved as a kid with my own kids. The box arrived without damage and with eco-friendly pacakaging.

I bought it for my Airbnb. I used to love this game as a child and I'm sure that my guests will too!!!

Great game to practice and learn strategy and critical thinking.

Previous Othello I had had a clear cover that would go over chips to hold them in their place...missing on this version.

Another great game that my kids have been kicking my rear in for over a decade now. We had to replace our old one and this one fits the bill nicely.

Very cool game! We play checkers and Uno with g kids a lot. But this game is awesome! So challenging and fun! Highly recommend

Weve always loved this game. This one is a gift!

fun time getting back to this game I haven't played in years!

This is the perfect game to play with my grandchild, and I am glad that you sold it
