Customer Insights: Rated 4.4/5 from 407 reviews.
Love these! I was worried after reading reviews saying they arrived damaged and taste like apple juice but my box arrived undamaged and in tact. I immediately popped some in the freezer so we could try them out as i was super excited to find some ice pops that are dye free! They are YUMMY! They absolutely do NOT taste like apple juice. Look like apple juice, yes, since they are made primarily from apple juice instead of sugar, water, and dye. But they taste like the flavor they are labeled as! I was very surprised at how good they are. My kids and husband loved them also. It would be nice if they were a little cheaper since they are more expensive than regular ice pops. But they really aren't any more expensive than buying smaller boxes of already frozen popsicles. I'm buying these all summer! No more horrible dyes!
The big issue is Walmart Delivery. They do not stock locally. My 1st order took a week to get here from Nevada. 2nd order delayed after it was due. Then, the delay was due to damaged product. Now, in limbo with Walmart return policy since not received so cannot file a claim. So unnecessary.
My three kids love these! The flavor is great and no dye s or high fructose corn syrup. My little boy can't tolerate the red and blue dyes. So these are a win win for us. Just wish Walmart carried them in store.
I love these otter pops and they definitely have different flavors. Not just frozen sweet apple juice! It's the popsicle but without the dye—perhaps some need the color to associate the flavor with the fruit taste, but lime tastes like lime and strawberry tastes strawberry. My kids love them and so do I. I bought 2 boxes and one had been badly damaged so the entire walmart box was soaked and I had to wash the popsicles from the undamaged box, BUT Walmart was great about the refund for the one box and I didn't even have to schlep the gross sticky box back to the store. Will definitely buy again and cross my fingers that delivery improves. The price is great for the massive amount of popsicles we got. And they are dye free and naturally flavored, but don't just taste like frozen fruits. Not that many popsicles out there that have these unique qualities and as close to a “healthy” freezepop as I have ever found.
This is not an indulgent item for me. Current medications make my mouth very dry. These all fruit juice ice pops relieve my symptoms. On the negative frequently 1 or 2 of the plastic tube gets broken in transit. Then you have sticky mess to clean up.
I buy these because they are a healthy treat. BUT JUST ONCE - I would like to get a box that is intact. Not leaking, not a sticky mess ~ just all the little pops lined up and waiting to go to the freezer. BUT THAT HASN'T HAPPENED YET. I share these with my delivery drivers, they absolutely appreciate it on a day when the temperature is 109 degrees. I wish the makers of Otter Pops would figure out a way to stop them from leaking. Add more plastic to the wrinkled up mess or find a way to smooth out the plastic - IT IS POSSIBLE. Once you get them and put a sleeve in the freezer, they are easy to take apart. BUT that doesn't solve the issue when they are being transported. The size is perfect for children and adults. They are refreshing, DELICIOUS and cooling on a hot summer day. Check with your health care provider to see if they are appropriate for a diabetic, they contain 9 grams of sugar. I would pay extra to have the plastic tube not be RIPPED and my Otter Pops delivered INTACT and NOT LEAKING when they arrive !!!!!
They don't look the same without the dye but still same great taste. Gave it 1 less star because they came with 1 empty and the sticky contents all over the other ones.
Both boxes of Otter Pops arrived soaked and partially open, but I let them dry several days before checking the Otter Pops for leaks. I tasted a few Pops, and they appear to be fine. Since these are treats for the grandkids next summer I transferred the Pops to dry boxes and am keeping them in a dry location. I love that these Otter Pops are Gluten-Free, are ok for Diabetics, and have no added color, artificial flavor, or High Fructose Corn Syrup and come in a box of 80 Pops. The kids love these cooling treats for their refreshing taste, and proudly ask for their favorite flavor by their six character names (Alexander the Grape; Little Orphan Orange; Sir Isaac Lime; Louis Bloo Raspberry; Poncho Punch, and Strawberry Short Kook). Adults have also been known to ask for these Pops as a Cooling Snack and as a Dessert. It's Win-Win for all of us!
I seem to one of many people who all get damaged and leaking popsicles delivered instead of what we actually ordered. Let me put it this way, when I order 6 items and 5 of them have to be immediately sent back due to damages incurred during shipping... Allow an extra two months if you are buying these for a certain date such as kids birthday or else you will not have them in time.
This is not 80 of the normal size outer pots. They are extremely small and don't even add up to the amount that is in one normal box of 27. It's a rip off. I thought I was getting 80 normal size auto parts for $15.
