Outlander: Season One Volume Two (DVD)

This series is fantastic! No don't watch it with your children regardless of age, it will embarrass both of you... the love making scenes are too intense i agree and no need for the visual details. But the story itself is fantastic.

Considering how much information and detail is in the books of this series, the film is a very good rendering of the story. The actors are terrific and do a sensational job of bringing the characters to life. I would recommend this to anyone as it is a extremely moving account of life, history and love.

Yes it is worth getting volume 1 and 2. You will get hooked on the series and one episode leads to the other. It is a very good adaptation of the book. The attention to the details of the period were excellent. Be warned there is some nudity and violence in which the camera doesn't look away--not appropriate for children.

I am going to watch this over and over. Can't get enough of Outlander Series and am on the watch for Season 2 DVD.

I did not know there was a volume two, to the first series. Until I looked over the information contained inside the first DVD. I enjoy all of the Outlander series so far. Very well done

The other reviewers obviously had no idea what this is all about. The reason you don't let young children view this DVD is because it is an adaptation of an ADULT book series. In fact, I believe it is rated NC-17. The TV series adaptation is excellent. A lot of work was put into this to make sure every detail was perfect. The story is fabulous and the actors are fantastic. The background scenery alone is worth watching the DVD. I highly recommend it and I also recommend reading the books as they will give you a lot more detail than the TV series can fit into 1 hour episodes.

I read the books when they first came out and thought that they would make a wonderful movie. In the nineties there weren't the series as there is today. Now someone has done that and wonder of wonders they have stayed true to the books. It's very pleasant to visually see what the mind made up before.

Read the books and enjoy seeing them come to life.

This is a wonderful show I could watch it over and over again!
