Outsidepride 5 lb. Creeping Red Fine Fescue Shade Tolerant Lawn Grass Seed

This grass seed was recommended a few years ago by our local garden shop for an area of our yard that is extremely shady. It was a success! We recently had a walkway laid in the backyard and needed to reseed some areas. We couldn't find the seed locally so took a chance and ordered from Walmart. The seed came quickly and grew quickly. It is thriving! The purple colored seed was such a help. We could see exactly where we had sown the seed. I will definitely order again!

Outside pride is amazing. This 5lb rate is well worth the price, if you know what you're doing. I have gotten 90-95% germination about 7 times on various turfgrass in both IL and FL, except just 1 time of 15% — and they sent more. A

This is what I wanted for a lush looking lawn that gets much shade. Fertilize, lime, water frequently and it looks fabulous.

Seed seems to have been treated with something on the outside which I assume is a plus. Germination has not occurred yet but it has only been seeded for 7 days. Sofar I am pleased with the product.

I have bought several kinds of grass see and this one is the only grass seed that has actually grown nicely. I will definitely be getting more and I recommend this grass seed with much confidence.

Might be my new favorite grass. It more expensive but has a creeping ability to fill holes, cool season grass, pretty, easy to grow, and should handle harsh summer well. So far it looks great.

The seed grew quicker than expected in an area of shade and limited water.

I knew I needed some grass seed but hadn't purchased any before we went on vacation. While we were there I noticed the grass was soft and small blades and I really liked it. When we got home I started researching grass and was looking at the usual KY Bluegrass, etc when I remembered the grass on vacation. This red fine fescue was what I thought it might be so that's what I bought. I'd say about 65-70% of it took really well and looks great. TBH, I kind of forgot about it after a few days so I didn't water as much as I should have. Either way, it looks good and feels good on bare feet. I recommend it if that's what you're going for.

Perfect for hard to grow shaded areas

Would like to get my money back on this product if possible. Planted product about 4 to 6 weeks ago and nothing – – I mean nothing has come up. Checked my soil, added sulfur replanted the area a second time and still no growth. Could not be more disappointed. How are you guys on Customer Service? Is there any way to get my money back on your product?
