They are hard to germinate for some people. But planting about an inch deep and keeping them watered they will come up . Just have patience. They are beautiful plants and do well at the corners of my shed and house awning. I think this is best suited for the plants.

Ha Ha. One of the question for the review was rate the taste... You had give a rating or the next xreen would not appear. Castor plants are not edible. They are actually poisonous.. Containing serious amounts of ricin... But I gave the taste rating 5. Ha Ha. The plant is a show piece. Striking color with spiky seed balls...Can grow quite tall, maybe 6 ft. It is said to discourage field mice from ruining garden plants. Terrible problem with the little critters here, North Florida.. I did notice less field mice (vole) activity in the bed that had the castor plant. They were quality seeds. Almost 100% germination. I will plant again next year. Castor plant is an annual zone 8b..

be sure and save the red prickly blooms they have the seeds for next year inside. Do wash your hands after handling them, they are poision They have big green leaves.

Package arrived on time %26 contained 107 seeds in very good condition. Indoors Germination was 100%. Really satisfied with seeds. Hopefully after I replant outside with success they grow into beautiful plants. Thank you
