I bake a lot of sourdough in Dutch ovens and the temperature is 450 degrees. These are perfect for safe handling of the cast iron Dutch ovens. Perfect for me !

set is a great value. large mitts are excellent the small finger mitts are just okay be careful if you just taking something out real quick they're fine but if you have to walk with it it's going to get too hot.

The oven mits are great. Potholders for handles are not so great. You can feel the heat when using on cast iron . Large round Potholders slip when you pick up a pot..

This item is narrow. If you have chunky arms it will not fit you. I purposely got these for our son because he's on the spectrum %26 is afraid of the oven. The length is perfect at 15 inches. But you need to have very skinny arms. These would not work for him %26 barely for me. Such a shame otherwise they would have been perfect.

Rating is not based on the oven mitt set, but rather the seller. It would be 0 stars if the option was allowed. I can't rate a product I never received, because I got a case of Friskies cat food instead. Well, I guess I could prop up my hot pans so they don't sit directly on my counters with it… But seriously, not the wrong color or make, it's cat food. Not even close to being related! So now I either try again or go with a different seller. What a waste of time.

A one star! It should be a zero star, not because of the product itself, but because of Walmart delivery system!!! They said it was getting delivered by 3:30pm. Next thing I know they told me they couldn't deliver, I asked why, they couldn't tell me!! Delivery instructions couldn't be easier: “Please, leave it at the porch!” That was it, and they couldn't do it? I just moved in to this place and what I was expecting was essentials to cook at my new place! Can you hear the frustration? I demand the delivery of these items, pronto!!

I did not receive this item, and I called in right away. They asked me to wait and give it a couple of days, for it to be delivered; I called back 4 days later, because it never arrived, and the AI operator said that my item was not eligible for a refund ??? It also would not transfer me to a live person. Very frustrating !!!!!!!!!
