OXO SoftWorks Food Chopper, White

I think this will hold up well over time. I hand wash it after every use since my other one (bottom plate) got very sticky from the nut oils. Very similar construction to previous one - easy to disassemble and reassemble. Of course the blades are sharp - it's new.

This food chopper is exactly what I was looking for. It's easy to use, works smoothly, and does a great job chopping food! I really like the blade swiper that keeps the food from getting stuck in the blades. The best part about it is how easy it is to clean. It comes completely apart and can be washed in the dishwasher. I highly recommend this food chopper!

I have always used my pampered chef chopper, and was hesitant to buy this even though I love the brand. When my old faithful chopper broke AGAIN, I gave it a chance… sure wish I had known sooner how much I would love this chopper! This is the best chopper EVER! The fact that it comes apart easily to clean it amazingly helpful and it chops up whatever with ease! Love, love, love this tool! In addition to chopping vegetables, this is an excellent device to chop assorted nuts used for breakfast cereal. It can be used to adjust the size of chopped nuts to suit your liking. I mill chia and flax seeds also for maximum benefit in this device.

it works fine, simple in color but it works well. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a hand (manual) food chopper. So far the blades are still sharp no issues there, I used it to chop up some inion, garlic and some tomatoes for an omelette. Worked perfect.

This is a great little chopper. It's well designed with quality materials and does just what it was made to do. It's not very big, so it can't dice even half of a large onion at one time, but it chops everything so quickly that a quarter of an onion at a time will still only take a minute or so to finely chop the entire onion. I've never had a problem with any OXO brand products, and this one is no exception to that record. So far, I've only used it for dicing onions, but I'm anxious to try it on nuts and other vegetables. I definitely recommend this OXO food chopper.

The wavy blade is sharp but not sharp enough for cutting all the way through green and yellow peppers on the first four or five chops. Blade is not razor sharp, which requires more chopping and changing position of the chopper. Overall the OXO chopper is effective. Normally it used to take an hour to knife chop six peppers. With OXO it took just 30 minutes! And all the cuts were more even and smaller pieces. Would purchase again.

Although this food chopper is sturdy and well made, the vegetables get stuck on or between the blades and don't get chopped unless you remove the safety cover and use your fingers to get the vegetables off of the very sharp blades. After you loosen the vegetables, they tend to immediately get stuck again.

I have never heard of this brand, so I was not to sure. I am impressed! This is the third chopper of this kind I have owned. The first two fell apart in a few months. This one feels more solidly made and chops finer than the others. I gave it 4 stars over all because I have only had it a short time.

Materials are solid and sturdy but it gets stuck easily. To prevent that from happening you have to cut your vegetables fairly small to use this thing. By the time you do that, you might as well finish chopping the whole vegetable yourself. I tried to use it to chop an onion. Cut it in half and the blade got stuck. Cut it in fourths but by that time my eyes were watering and the onion was mostly there anyway. So I ended up chopping the whole thing by hand which was exactly what I was trying not to do. Disappointing.
