OXO SoftWorks Snap-Lock Can Opener with Easy-Grip Handles and Large Knob for Smooth Turning

Loved this opener.. Am almost 83 and I can work it easily. It works like a charm. Good quality. Don't waste your time. on those openers that go on top and you have to put batteries in them. Tried one of them and it didn't work. Very frustrated with it because I had to return it.

I've lost much grip strength with age and this can opener makes it so easy to open cans. The handles lock onto the rim so nothing slips. The knob is easy to turn. Easiest can opener I've ever owned. Expensive but 100% worth every penny!

I wanted a can opener that would be easy for me to use. My right hand wrist has some issues when I try to open things that are hard. This opener is so easy and really easy on my wrist. Opening cans is so easy!

This is my second. The first was fine until it started dropping out of alignment. I replaced with another brand and was entirely unhappy so I came back to this slightly different Oxo brand product. It works beautifully…about half the time. Disappointing, but not a total waste.

VERY well designed. It clicks locked shut while it is opening a can, which is a very well thought-out feature.

We had a hard time figuring out how to use the thing at first! I mean for a hand held can opener it should have been straight forward! Ughhh. But we got it now and it works fine! Yayyy

Hard to get secure attachment on can. When it unattached from the can, and I reattached it, sometimes it would unattach again when I got to the place that was already opened. VERY DISAPPOINTED

OXO quality has really been falling off. Bought this to replace an OXO can opener with the locking feature, like this one. The spring that helps the opener release on the old one finally broke after about 15 - 20 years of faithful service. The new open does not even attempt to open a can using the locking feature. Even applying significant squeezing force throughout the opening process, the opener quits cutting requiring me to release and reapply repeatedly to eventually get the can open. I retrieved the old opener from the junk drawer (which still works great, just harder to release it from the can) and will return the new one, hoping Walmart will refund my money with their excellent satisfaction policy.

This can opener will not stay on. At first I thought the can might have been dented but now I have tried it on several others and it makes the initial cut and then slides off. A total waste of money.

Completely worthless. Do not buy. Doesn't open cans. Cannot make a complete circle without popping off.
