i found my previous transom saver broken on the deck of my boat, I have absolutely no idea as to how it happened, so I looked one up on the Wal-Mart site and found exactly what I needed, I ordered it, the price was right and the shipping was even better.

Too short
I liked this. But it was too short. This appeared to be a rebranded Atwood. I just bought the next larger size Atwood. It even used the same connector at the trailer. So that worked out well. I would have loved for this one to work. I have a SeaRay SPX 190 OB, which is about 23' overall with the Mercury 150 HP outboard. It rides on a single axle Shorelander trailer. See photo. Almost worked. Skeg is too low. So really writing this review to help others that have similar set ups.

It should work
Not quite as heavy duty as I was hoping. 1,100 mile trip into Canada. Hopefully it holds up

The item had been previously opened when I received it. When I re-opened the package, a critical part was missing. It is a small "U" channel w/ a clevis pin. It allows the Transom Saver the flexibility to be mounted in differing positions. When I attempted to notify Walmart of the missing part, I was told to contact the manufacturer. This item is sold by a company that is wholly-owned by Walmart. The manufacturer is somewhere in China.

Just too short
Can't really give a bad review because the item seems pretty sturdy. The only problem was that it just doesn't fit my boat trailer to boat motor. It's too short. Although I have to return it, I may be able to find one that's longer to better suit my needs.

we only got to ise it twice before on our way honlme it broke and wrle didnt know it. The bungee cord and the piece that held the motor but the rest of it was missing. I'm not sure what happened but won't buy another one.
