Ozark Trail Aluminum Quick Lock Adjustable Trekking Pole with EVA Grip

This thing is the bomb! I needed it for hiking, and also for proprioception training, and it has helped me so much! It was easy to adjust, and amazingly adjustable at that, which surprised me. It is lightweight, but well made and sturdy, and I really like the wrist strap which prevents me from dropping it. I came with an extra tip too, so I can use it indoors (which I am needing to do). Last but not least, it's a great deal!

I had a set of similar Ozarks that I bought for hiking in the national parks and liked very much. I broke them after a fall and decided to stick with the same brand when I needed a new set to use after back surgery to balance %26 walk. I'm 6'4" and I can actually make these longer than I need so they are perfect and easy to collapse or renew. These are better than the old ones in that as the clasp mechanisms start wearing and loosening up...you can just turn the thumb nail nut and it is fixed and you don't need a screwdriver. The grips are nice and long and the wrist straps are sturdy. I'd like to see these come with a few alternative tips as they do wear through on hard surfaces. Fortunately...alternative tips are widely available as the orignals wear out. All in all these are an excellent deal and hold up well in daily use and on the trail.

Works well. My son and I each have one and they adjust to our different heights easily (5'8” and 4'6”). Haven't had any problems with the telescoping function collapsing unexpectedly like I saw from another reviewer. I was worried about that happening and I specifically tested for this and had zero problems. They are lightweight yet still sturdy. I haven't used it but I like that they included a different tip for muddy hikes. The handle and strap feel high quality as well. This is a great buy for me as I get a little older. I enjoy using it to help me at stream crossings and steep areas.

I just started using this so can't speak for durability yet, but so far this is awesome! I have tremors and can be easily unbalanced, especially in the muddy roads we have around here. I love to walk for fresh air so I bought this and wow--it has been so nice! I feel so much more balanced. It is lightweight but very sturdy. I don't use the point, just the regular tip. It comes with a wider tip if you want more stability. I didn't try that yet as the regular tip is working great. It makes my walks more enjoyable and using the pole makes the walking less exhausting as well. I already raved about it to several relatives who I know have balance issues as well. Hopefully this will last awhile. It is lightweight so you'd think it wouldn't be that great but it is. Plus, the handle is VERY comfortable. Has a bit of cushion to it and it has a strap if needed to hold your hand on.

wanted a wood walking stick. ran across this and glad that we got them. easy to adjust the height. we took them down to hocking hills and they worked fine. sturdy enough. easu to adjust fornuse and for storage. light-weight and priced right.

We bought this on vacation as I had forgotten my own walking stick at home. For a substitute I'd say it's very stable, sturdy, has a good grip, and is easy to adjust if you follow the instructions.

Good price and fast shipping. One of the two poles was missing the tip. It was not in the packaging. If the problem is solved, I will upgrade my rating.

When the nice associate brought my trex pole to me it was missing vital parts. He kindly went to look for them but couldn't find them. I asked him to take it back and give me a refund. He said he would check with his manager and he came back and confirmed that I would be refunded. I thought they would refund the full amount but when I looked at my credit card statement, I was wrong. They kept my $6.99 they charged me to pickup an item that I had to return because it was useless.

I ONLY RECEIVED HALF OF THE ITEM, THE PERSON WHO HANDLED IT HAD NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS, OR THEY WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT IT WAS ONLY HALF OF THE ITEM THAT WAS BEING SENT TO ME, THE OTHER HALF WAS MISSING, !

The walking stick arrived over a week late so it was of no use to me when I went to Washington DC. I ended up coming home with severe gout in my legs from the extra exertion.
