This is a very well made lantern that can serve multiple purposes! I wanted it for overnight hiking trips, camping and backpacking. So I wanted it to be light, convenient and do a great job. This lantern is all those things! Even before we went to the actual trip we ended up using it so many times in so many different areas of the house - to do a little work on the attic, to light up the backyard and look for a lost key! I can't imagine not having it in my home! It comes already charged but make sure you FULLY charge it. I was reading up reviews and people were saying that it doesn't last the mentioned amount of hours. Fully charge it first! It does last the advertised amount of time! We had it on a medium for 6 hours! And the best thing - it's rechargeable!

We love our new Ozark lanterns as the 360° light all the way around is amazing and having the flashing red light as an option just in case you need to seek help is a safety priority. We also love the fact that you don't need to buy batteries for these lanterns and that we just need to charge them. Great product.

Wow, the Ozark Trail 3000 Lumen Rechargeable LED Lantern is incredible! I really like the size and how lightweight this lantern is. The top handle is easy to carry around and also has a hook. It is definitely bright enough with the 4 settings. Being rechargeable really helps, versus using up tons of batteries. This is the best LED lantern and would buy more, even as gifts!

I've seen the light! I'm blinded by the light! This is so bright that I am positively sure that the International Space Station can see it! STOCK UP on this rechargeable lantern! Great to have camping, Mother''s Nature's Wrath - Hurricanes, Snow Storms, any time that a power outage might occur. I also recommend to grab a Ozark Trail Solar and Hand crank ones to go with everything in the event of power failure!

After years of camping, I've seen all kinds of lanterns. This one I was bought for a snowstorm case the lights went out. I could not believe how bright the lantern was. It charges easily through the port no batteries, no electric. To tell you the truth I can't wait to sit out in the backyard with it instead of a burning fire. Buy it you won't be sorry.

Good value for the price = 5/5. Charge level indicator is at the plug in so hard to see, would have preferred an indicator light out on the shell so ease of use gets a 4/5. Battery life is only 15 hours so 4/5. Brightness isn't super so 4/5. Overall a decent camping light.

I received this product complimentary from Home Tester Club in exchange for my honest opinion and review. This rechargeable lantern is so nice! It charges quickly and offers 4 different settings! I like how you can adjust not only the brightness but there is a red light feature and flashing light. This is amazing for camping trips and even to have at home as an emergency item. I would definitely buy more products from Ozark!

it appears to be a great lantern. high is very bright and there a total of 4 modes. Mine was operable but i decided to charge it to make sure its full in case of power outages. it does not take any batteries and is charges through a c cable like a phone. it can also charge with the same cable reversed.

purchased items out of fear of losing electricity. it wasn't necessary to use it and honestly was out of my price range to start with. ordered some other battery operated lights that were not in stock need a refund on the 2 of them as well. thank you

sure the thing can be 3,000 Lumen if you only need a light for like an hour. to get right to last all night for a power outage you have to have it at a basically night night level, you can pick up a Coleman's Lantern that is brighter on the lowest setting than this one and last for 45 hours versus 15 and medium brightness is brighter than this one unless 15 hours versus this one lasting five. get this only if you need super bright night for like an hour. the high setting is brighter than the Coleman's but only last like an hour where it's a Coleman's are still pretty bright on the high setting and still last all evening. and it's only like 10 bucks more
