SORT OF A WEIGHTY LITTLE THING, NICELY MADE, AND 3 BRIGHTNESS LEVELS ARE NICE AND BRIGHT. I BOUGHT FOR IN-HOME USE. I CANT SEE WELL, AND USE FLASHLIGHTS THROUGHOUT MY DAY AND NIGHT. THE LIGHT COMES ON AT IT'S BRIGHTEST LEVEL, THEN HAVE TO PRESS THE ON BUTTON AGAIN TO REDUCE BRIGHTNESS LEVEL. THE INITIAL 'ON" IS TOO BRIGHT FOR MY CONSTANT HEADACHE TO BEAR, SO I CLOSE MY.EYES AND PRESS "ON" 3 TIMES, THEN OPEN MY EYES! WOULD BE GREAT, I THINK, FOR A HANDY LIGHT FOR SEEING ACROSS A CAMPSIGHT, OR OTHER OUTDOOR USE AT A DISTANCE; HOWEVER, IT IS OVERKILL FOR MY INDOOR NEEDD. IT WAS CHARGED UP, OUT OF THE BOX %26 I HAVEN'T NEEDED TO RECHARGE IT YET. I DON'T EXPECT TO USE THIS PARTICULARLY BRIGHT FLASHLIGHT, INDOORS, SO WILL NOT KNOW HOW LONG IT GOES ON A CHARGE. I'D SAY IT'S MAYBE A BIT TOO HEAVY FOR JUST CARRYING IN POCKET OR PURSE, BUT WOULD WANT IT IN VEHICLE, WITH ME, FOR SURE.

I recently lost a very nice tactical flashlight, that I kept on my nightstand. I looked on the manufacturer's website and the cost to replace my flashlight was insane! I decided to look on Walmart's site for a comparable tactical light instead. I was delighted to find Ozark Trail branded flashlights and at a great price. I bought two and I keep one on my nightstand and the other in my family room. The lights look and feel well constructed and function flawlessly. The size is perfect to slide in a pants pocket or just about anywhere you may need to carry a flashlight. There are three brightness levels that default to the brightest level first and then are dimmed to the next level by pushing the button again. I really like that these flashlights are rechargeable and don't require expensive specialty batteries. Only time will tell how durable these lights really are, but they seem to be an excellent, well built replacement for the one I lost. I can definitely recommend these flashlights to others!

Overall pretty good flashlight, it has different settings and it gets very bright. Sometimes the brightest setting is actually too bright and it has to be lowered to be able to see better. The battery life seems to hold up well so far and the flashlight itself seems very durable. I've had it for a month or so and I tend to be on the clumsy side so I've dropped this thing I don't know how many times and it hasn't caused any issues. The only concern I have is the temperature.. it gets pretty hot after being left on for more than about 10 mins or so but it's not so hot you can't hold it. I would blame the clumsiness but it's been this way since the first use! 😆

Nice flashlight very bright easy to carry around it does get hot on high mode after a couple of minutes but it is a tactical flashlight not a work light is not meant to be on for hours. Would definitely buy again. (Also have the 2500 lumens version it's not as good as this one)

it's bright but i didn't have a use for it and I needed my money back. the usb cable is pretty short and can't be used to charge anything else because it's so slow

not a bad little flashlight. For such a small one it truly does put out 1000 lumens. I wish the battery power lasted longer but the rechargable battery makes up for that a bit.

Well first off, the clip is upside down. For my purposes anyway. If you want to clip this to a safety vest, you'll have the light shining up at you. It doesn't telescope at all so I can't narrow the light to a particular point which isn't awesome. It's darn bright though. It's also compact.

Battery doesn't stay charged long at all! Used on and off for a total of maybe 20 minutes and it needed to be charged. Charging also takes longer than the battery lasts! Has been on charger for 1.5 hrs and it's still not fully charged. Also, the flashlight gets VERY HOT if you have this turned on for more than a couple of minutes. And keep in mind the flashlight handle is metal so it became almost too hot to hold so had to turn it off to let it cool down. Maybe I received a defective flashlight, but it not, this is the worst flashlight I have ever owned!!!

the walmart description is not correct, there is no strobe function for the flashlight beam. deceptive description. there are better tactical flashlights cheaper on ebay.

charged light up used it for work only ram maybe 10 in two days , charged again now will light up then dim down then shut off in 5 seconds. turned it on again and did same thing. won't stay one , it's junk
