I am a true Texan and I can tell you I've had different picante, sauces and picante salsa and I am telling you my family will only eat pace. I have bought other brands and it would just spoil in the refrigerator because no one would eat it besides me and I only bought it because it was on sale. I won't do that again.
Pace is my go to for tomato flavor in any dish I cook. I add it to soup, eat it with Fritoes, add it to cooked rice and tell myself it is Spanish Rice. I combine Pace with American cheese slices in a microwave save mixing cup with a cover and in about 15-30 seconds have Cheese Dip. Just be careful to microwave in 10 second intervals and stir between heating. It will be smooth and creamy. I use about 1/4 cup sauce with about 6 slices of cheese. If too thin add cheese, to thick add sauce. Go slow, and don't overcook the cheese, it should be melted not cooked.
This is the chunkiest salsa I have found. I have tried other "chunky" salsas, but they end up being less than advertised. Pace chunky is great as a snack on chips or to top nachos. The mild has a lot of flavor with enough Jalapeno kick for me. Pace's flavor, thickness, and chunkiness seal the deal for me.
I love the flavor of this salsa. i use it on baked potatoes, stir it into baked beans, add it to salads, top scrambled eggs, add to mac and cheese, add to soup, stir it into mashed potaotoes, and put it in meatloaf. I only use the "mild" because I like the flavor but am not fond of heat. This is pretty thick compared to some others and is great for dipping corn chips.
This is a pantry item that always comes in handy when you have friends or neighbors stop by! Easy dip, spread cream cheese on a pretty plate, pour Picante sauce on the Cream Cheese and sever with tortilla chips or crackers along with a beverage. Such a great treat for any afternoon by the pool, camping etc. you also can used it in so many different ways as well, try it with meatloaf or scrambled eggs. Try mild or hot, or chunky
This is my favorite salsa. I l don't like hot or very spicy foods. The Pace mild chunky salsa is just right. I love the flavor and the chunks. The price is reasonable and compares well with the price on other brands. I stock up when it is on sale. :-)
This salsa is delicious! The price is very good for the size! We use this in our crockpot chicken recipe, which includes chicken, corn, cannellini beans, and some salsa! It's so yummy and I love the chunky flavor! Very satisfying!
I really like thia product and I've been buying it for many years. Great taste, with the right amount of heat and spiciness. Great value for the taste and price. I'll continue buying it and may consider buying a large size next time.
This is our favorite chip and dip salsa as it has a great flavor and is relatively chunky. The mild isn't spicy at all and the medium has a little kick. Just perfect.
I ordered Pace Mild Picante sauce- not chunky salsa, and one of the jars leaked. I threw the leaking jar away. I don't check replace with something similar when ordering Pace Picante Sauce. I use delivery all the time and think it's great, and the delivery drivers are great too. The shopper picked the wrong Pace product which I also did on one occasion a few years back.
