I always come back for more

Mid October 21, 2023

I liked eating chili dogs and chili potatoes, but then the meat ones made me feel like I had food poisoning. I can no longer break down animal protein. This gave me a second chance to enjoy chili. There is vegan sour cream that Walmart sells, it was amazing with chili potatoes and vegan bacon bits!

Don't judge a can by YOU not reading the wrapper!

CreativeLicense March 13, 2023

That's exactly what I did. I was looking for quick things to open and heat up for my meals as I just had major surgery. Was looking for chili…thought this looked good In it's photo…did not read the entire label though! As I'm pouring it into a bowl to heat up I see “plant based”…my heart sank…my attitude was “I won't like it, I know I'll try it then pitch it”. Nope! Not only did I like it but my picky husband tried a bite and liked it…trust me when I say that was a stunner too! It has a really great thickness to it and an interesting spice flavor that I can't decide what it is but…its great! You could add more chili powder/cumin if desired and top w/your fav chili toppers. My bowl got a heaping amount of shredded cheese, this was SUCH a pleasant surprise to eat! At just over 3.00 for the can and around 400 calories I was pleased all the way around. I double dog dare you to pick up a can and try it…this could be a great Meatless Monday meal! Excellent product and made me glad I didn't read the full label, I would of missed my new favorite bowl of chili!! Thanks for sticking around and reading all of this 😉. Now…add a can to your cart!

Delightful

ShashankaB April 9, 2026

Packaging is good. The beans aren't soggy and still crunchy. Does feel full after consumption. Spice level is medium and suits well. Black beans are of medium size and tastes good.

Filling, Needs Spice

BirdDog March 5, 2023

This is really filling and satisfying, but I had to add more chili powder as it was far too mild for my taste. I will get this again as it's nice to have on hand to throw together something quick when low on time.

Big let down

Kristy September 26, 2022

I was sooo excited to see vegetarian chili after I ate some at Disneyworld a few years back. I loved their chili so much. This one was NOT good. There is some kind of spice in there that is too overwhelming for my palate. Also quite expensive at almost $4 a can so I'll be returning the other 2 I purchased.

Taste

J November 25, 2023

I did not look at reviews first, my mistake, this tasted so bad, had to spit it out and throw it in trash. Would not even let anyone else try it.

Vile sickeningly sweet not chili

Annoyed June 3, 2023

This was the worst chili I've ever had, if you can even call it chili. There is ZERO cumin flavor. It's just a sickeningly sweet bean stew. Disgusting!
