Progresso Vegetable Classics, Vegetarian Vegetable with Barley Canned Soup, 19 oz.

I have never found a vegetable soup I like as well as Campbell's vegetarian vegetable. Until now. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this is. I ate it with peanut butter crackers and m-m-m, it was so good. The only problem was I didn't order another can so I can have some more tomorrow.

Even though it's called Vegetarian, I like to add a few ounces of left over roast beef or browned ground beef. Tasty! Tasty?

Very tasty. My favorite meat-free soup. Also not many calories.

I've had others, I liked more, but when I found they had MSG, I couldn't eat them anymore. The headaches, worse than migraines. But the barley really makes this vegetarian soup. I had to get TWICE as many this time.

not a bad canned soup. good for a quick lunch or supper. I like that there's a vegetable option without the canned meat. slightly bland,but you can spruce it up with some pepper or hot sauce. but it's canned soup not homemade so you have to take that into account but it's not bad in a pinch. I would definitely buy again I don't buy many canned soups probably less than a handful but this would be probably one of them.

First time ordering this. What you see on the picture of the can is almost about what you are going to get. The rest is juice. Was a bit disappointed. It was an OK taste. I would order it again but for almost $2 I expected more barley and more vegetables. I think the barley and vegetables could double at least.

Love the option of having a vegetarian veggie soup at an affordable price. This soup has a mild tomatoey taste and includes some nice veggies. HOWEVER, there is no need to have so many starchy veggies - I wish Progresso would leave out the potatoes (barley is already included), and maybe to add to the healthiness, include spinach or beet greens. There is some green leafy veggie in there (don't know what) but the amount is SO SMALL, it's not of any value. Also, the sodium could be replaced by more flavorful veggies... Overall, good effort compared to most offerings out there.

Disgusting

This soup is just overpriced garbage, to be honest. $2.28 for cans which are dented in half when delivered to the doorstep. And, why would anyone eat this, anyway? Boy, I ''l never buy it again. 1500 ml of sodium in a 15 oz can, and little of anything else. Just take a couple of cheap bullion cubes, add 5 TEASPOONS of SALT, and throw in a 1/8 cup of barley and veg and a few teaspoons of tomato. You'll save a lot of money, and be eating the same thing. It disgusts me that this is even considered food, and people will pay over $2 for a can of it. You're getting 5 teaspoons of Sodium, please wake up!
