Ability to hear on this phone is loud and clear.easy read numbers.loud ring and loud hearing the other party when talking to people who speak softly or low.
I bought this for my elderly mom, she loves the big numbered buttons, easy to see. Not sure if it works when the power goes off. No way to test that. There's no battery backup. But for the low price, it's a good phone.
Having a LL is essential when there is no electricity or cell phone tower issues, the old-fashioned LL will work. For $20 you can't not have one, if you have DSL, an older home, apt or condo built anywhere from the 50's to the early 2000's then you'll have a phone plug somewhere, you just gotta have a service provider. The phone weighs like a pound, volume is loud, has redial and speaker phone. Description says it's for elderly seniors, I don't think so!
This phone was perfect for my mom. She had a cordless phone but could never remember where she left the handset. When she did find the handset, it was always dead. She has the same issues with her cell phone. This phone solves all of those issues! It will always work and if she doesn't hang it up right, it beeps so loud that she cant help but make the correction. We can always reach her and she can always reach us. It's a win-win!
mom had a stroke can't see out one eye she can see numbers to call when she needs
The phone works well, and it's nice having a corded phone that doesn't need additional power. But, the phone is slightly smaller %26 lighter than expected and the built-in speaker isn't as loud as my father needs. Volume switch only has two settings: low %26 high.
It looks good on paper, but it is too flimsy and light weight to do a decent job. It was cheaper than some of the others, However when you pick up the receiver you get the entire phone, it just dangles till you put it back on desk and upon movement then it comes off the desk... Packard Bell used to b e a great brand, just didn't cut it with this phone.
usually my stuff is packed neatly this time it was just thrown all together my raisin were out of the container in the box thank heavens the instant potatoes didn't rip open they were smashed in between heavy cans they could have gone in a separate small box with the raisins so the raisins wouldn't have been crushed open by the heavy cans and why package all the heavy bug spray in one box the box broke open before i could even get it in the door thankful my toes were out of the way or i would have had a broken foot since the bottom of the box fell out from poor backing way to go Walmart other than that I'm still waiting for some of my stuff off my order i guess that will take a few days and they said threw a email that they are refunding my one wet case dog food i don't know why i guess they must be sold out great way of informing the customer on that as well that's poor service if i didn't check my email i would have never seen that as well 😔 should have given a different option when your out of something you say you have or take it off the order guide for people to order from idiots jeez 😡 not that hard to help someone out thanks have a blessed day
I bought this phone for my elderly mother to replace her phone on the kitchen wall. Yes, it has notches to hang the phone from a wall plate, but it is too lightweight to stay on the wall. Every time my mother answered the phone, the entire phone would come off the wall. In less than two days, she asked me to get rid of it.
I read mixed reviews and should have heeded the bad ones. I bought this for my 89 year old mother, and was disgusted when it arrived, several of the buttons were not working! Super lightweight and cheap as could possibly be. Walmart quickly arranged a return, their customer service was stellar. But they would better their standing by not selling such complete junk in the first place. This seriously should be pulled from the market.
