The guard is not the easiest to use and the serrated blades wear out faster than the grass does . I have used the metal blade with good success. Good for smaller yards!
I like the wheels and the designs, but it just doesn't have as much power as it said it should have, according to the video. I tried to cut a 1/2 inch branch, it took about 10 minutes to it through. Way to long for that size of branch. It was just a maple branch. Green, but still should not have taken that long.
It only came with one real blade so make sure you choose the option wisely with all metal blades! I still haven't put it together yet so after I do n use it I'll let you know how it does!
Light weight, so easy to handle. I'm left handed so the start button is on the wrong side and handle is weird to hold. Wire guard is too far from the blade. Cannot get close enough to get most of the weeds along fence, raised garden, brick patios, etc. Used once and I've already bent one of the metal blades. I bought it to help keep saplings down. Haven't tried that yet.
The attachment of the wheels was simple, but after using for ten minutes they became loose and now I'm just waiting for them to fall off. I've tried tightening them up but it's useless. They won't. The blade attachments are great. However a bit small. But they do the job at cutting down thick stemmed weeds. My string trimmer would have used all of it's line cutting those down. Was nice knowing all I had to worry about was battery life. Good thing it comes with two batteries. Speaking of battery life. First time went better than expected. Went to use today however and the batteries didn't last more than 5 minutes. I had fully charged them last time I used the trimmer. It's only been two weeks since then. All my other battery powered equipment batteries would be good to go. Not these. These batteries also take forever to charge. Some have complained about having the wrong charger. The hole in the battery for the plug is beside the contacts. Have patience and look, you'll find it. Would I buy again? I doubt it. If the batteries won't hold a charge, what use is it?
it's very light weight and easy to use .I really like the easy adjustable handle and adjustable cutting head, but it just doesn't have a lot of power and one of the small metal blades already bent. I'm sure I can find some more heavy duty blades that will fit. I mainly purchased this to weedeat around my garden containers.
Absolutely not worth it! So disappointing. The screws came out the wheels and I lost a wheel. Found the wheel but not the screws. Found a nut around the home that fitted and used it. No extra screws or nuts comes with this item so if you lose one you in trouble. I have to cut on an angle, handle not long enough and I'm 5'4. Just not an overall good purchase. Batteries don't last long either. Can only cut the front of back on one battery.
Instructions are not clear and parts are missing therefore I am unable to assemble product Very disappointed in the return process. I need item picked upas I cannot get to the store.
This must have been the very last to end a contract with the supplier. Box was crushed, torn, had exposed the product, missing instructions. Possibility of ordering more parts was NOT available because the seller was no longer available. When I tried to return it (had free returns within 30 days) Walmart finally refunded my money and did not require returning the item. So, this sad review was for the product (no longer carried) and not for Walmart.
I purchased the Weed walker because It seems to have the 5.0 five stars. Apparently mine was definitely defective and broken. It was not working the battery does not stay charged for amount of time. Didn't even turn on. I was so excited to get this so i can do work in my yard.. to save money.. but noooooo…Smoke was coming all kinds of way. Also it burned my hand. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS. NO GOOD!!!!!
