Useful in small places like my flowerbeds especially in established ones where things can get tight. This is a beginner unit with the least power but powerful enough to use in small residential landscaping and flower beds. It is easy to assemble as you only need to turn two knobs to secure the handle and push two rings through either side of the blades. Because it runs on rechargeable batteries, you don't have to worry about cords getting in the way. There is an extra battery so you always have power. You have at least a solid hour of power and the next battery will be charged before then. The unit has a helpful control handle which I used to force the unit down to dig further. The power handle has a button to hold down the power button for you which helps alleviate hand stress. Unit is light weight, stores easily, and has a nice color. It was extremely affordable.

Absolutely love this. I have clay soil and it does a great job. I'm a short small build and it is very easy for me to use, actually lighter than the weed whip. Just make sure you pull the bigger weeds first or you will have to stop and clean out the blades. Very happy with this purchase, it was inexpensive and well worth the money. I'm still on the first battery charged and have gone over my medium size garden plot twice now.

this little tiller really shocked me, it has more power than you would ever imagine from something at this price. my garden is a raised bed kinda but it's been established for 3 years so it is pretty packed. this little tiller went thru it and all the weeds like nothing. I couldn't believe it. I will definitely recommend it to anyone needing something light weight but that will get the job done.

I'd been looking for something like this to make weeding faster and easier. This was the best price I could find so I decided to try it. I'm glad I did. it does a great job. It lasted over an hour on a partial charge. I'm pleasantly surprised:)

Wonderful little machine. I have a small gas tiller for tight spots that costs over $300, but it just won't start. I was skeptical about trying an electric tiller because I was worried it wouldn't have enough power to break up my hard clay soil. I was amazed at how well it worked. It didn't bounce around trying to break up the soil like my gas tiller did. It just dug in. It's so nice to know I won't have any starting issues and can trust it to do its job.

Lightweight, attractive tiller for raised beds. I have nine raised beds in my garden. I bought this tiller after my father bought the larger version. I wanted something lightweight that I could put into the beds and operate easily. It worked perfectly. I was able to till five beds with one battery. I'm very happy with my purchase so far.

Ideal for raised beds. I have a 250 sq ft raised bed with a fairly loose soil mix. Weeds and grasses are a problem and need frequent hoeing to keep them under control. It gets very warm on the south side of my house here in Florida, and I didn't feel like doing the physical work. The cordless FOUKUS cultivator changed that. This lightweight beast gets the job done in a flash. Summers are too hot for most vegetables, so I cut back all the stubborn weeds and solarize the garden from July to early September. After removing the tarp, I add a few inches of soil amendment and mix it in thoroughly with the cultivator. At 68, I used to hire a couple of young people to dig the soil with a pitchfork, but no longer do. During the growing season, it's easy to maneuver between plants and control the digging depth to avoid their roots. It digs into compacted soil well with a few back and forth movements. Sometimes it gets stuck on a thick root left over from the previous year's harvest. I was relieved that the tines engaged immediately and without damage and returned to normal operation once the obstruction was cleared. With it, I actually look forward to working the soil and being productive without exerting myself, but with a little necessary exercise.

Instructions leave something to be desired - not much detail on orientation of the tiller “blades”. The blades were VERY hard to get on the shaft and the ring was nearly impossible to insert through both sets of holes to secure the blades to the shafts. Using foldover/snap over rings as security in the first place seems a little dubious. The hand guide for the shaft is shown above the first connection but I'll need to switch it lower for better control (so I can apply downward force to get better traction). Seems to perform well so far. We have very rocky clay soil (ugh) but it seems to have enough power to dig through it for my purposes (mixing in lots of amendments for new plantings). I won't be getting rid of my manual tiller/cultivator but this is definitely faster. I wouldn't pay “full price” but the sale/clearance price is reasonable.

This is a good deal for the money but not ideal for anything other than a row or two. Very easy to assemble. Comes with two batteries. After 20 minutes the battery still has a charge left. This will dig down about 4 inches deep and 4 inches wide. Great for rows but not for any real projects. It will cut through turf but if I had to buy again, I would not. Very difficult to work with due to its light weight. As a 5'3” woman, I would find real it difficult getting this to work effectively. It takes a lot of upper body strength. Till a garden - yes. Prep land to make a garden - no. Made well, long battery life but just too light to be really effective.
