Palmolive Eco Gel Dishwasher Detergent, Lemon Splash - 75 Fluid Ounces

This Palmolive ECO dishwasher detergent is the only detergent that doesn't leave spots on my dishes. We have well water and a water softener and other products leave spots. It's getting harder to find this detergent, so I'm thankful that Walmart carries it.

This is the only dishwasher detergent I will buy. It contains chlorine bleach and that is exactly what I want to bleach and sanitize my dishes. It is very hard to find dw detergents containing chlorine bleach anymore so I truly hope they never change their formula.

I mix this with automatic dishwasher powder in the dispenser section of my dishwasher. I save a lot of money and it works like a dishwasher gel-pack soap without the gunk they use to make those little packets. (Dishwasher repair people really complain about those things.)

I pourchased this brand of automatic dishwasher detergent because my two year old Hotpoint washer seems to have a hard time completely rinsing many other detergents, no matter the wash setting. This stuff worked great, and smells great albeit a bit bleachy.

I will start my review by saying, this used to be my go to dish soap! It had awesome cleaning power at a GREAT price! Unfortunately something has changed... My last two bottles have been a complete disappointment.. It isn't cleaning well and it's leaving a residue... I had to switch to cascade. I'm very disappointed because it really was great.

Positive points: It's "Eco" Negative points: It always leaves a residue on dishes. I almost ruined a ceramic dish because of this soap. There was so much residue I had to soak the dish for almost 2 days before I could remove the soap.
