This unscented works way better for me. Too many perfumes and chemicals in the rest of them. This is better for babies and people with any type of sensitivities. Actually, it’s better for everyone. It’s just hard to convince people that all those perfumes and chemicals in candles, detergents, lotions, and perfumes are not good for you.

When you factor in price, availability and power this is the best unscented IMO. I'm not super dirty as in I don't have a lot of actual dirt and stains so for me this is fine. I don't know if it would handle little kids or working mens' stains. It has never iritated my skin.

No perfume smells or itching like I have the fleas. The Purex Free and Clear is gentle on my skin, so no more rashes for me! My clothes come out clean and looking great. When I wash my husband's clothes, this detergent doesn't do well with eliminating nasty work smells from his laundry.

I like the Purex free and clear. I have extremely sensitive skin so I always buy it because it doesn't break me out; and it doesn't have any perfume or chemical smell and that's really important to me. I prefer the bigger size like I always buy but Walmart doesn't seem to sell it anymore so I had buy this smaller size.

Always buy this as the best per ounce price for liquid sensitive skin detergent without the awkward, ultra large containers with a spout to accommodate it's being so big you slide it over the tub and use the spout instead of pouring. If leaving clothes in washer overnight, I add borax to keep clothes fresh, or for smelly, soiled clothes.

It's what I need: fragrance-free, dye-free. Fragrance gives me sinus infections (I can't even take essential oils, it doesn't matter) %26 dye makes my skin itch like fire. This laundry detergent gets my clothes clean even in cold water. It's great for people %26 for families that have skin sensitivities. Similar brands are All Free %26 Clear %26 Tide Free (can't remember the name exactly) from WM also. I used All Free %26 Clear for years before the others started making fragrance- %26 dye-free versions. Purex often offers the best value per ounce than the other 2, but I would check before you buy. Price divided by ounces = cost per ounce. It doesn't matter as much how many loads the package says you should get. I don't use a full cup per load (some laundry expert said 2 Tbsp per load). Purex %26 All are the best value overall for all the fragrance- and dye-free laundry detergents I've seen. Note: there are surely some chemicals in this that make it not a fully "clean" laundry detergent from a toxin-free or endocrine disrupting perspective. So, investigate the ingredients before you buy it if you're particularly concerned.

This is my family's favorite laundry soap by far. I have a house full of people with very sensitive skin, and finding a good laundry soap has been quite challenging for us. This product is dye free and scent free, but it still does an amazing job of cleaning. With many other soaps, I've found that you're sacrificing quality for sensitivity. That is not true of this product, and it is an amazing deal compared to other sensitive soaps. No one in my house has had any irritation from this product, and we will continue using it. I highly recommend this product for any skin sensitivities.

This is an honest review. Please perform your own research. I use side loader washers so perhaps I am not using them properly but I belive I am. I do not notice my clothes being fully cleaned again this could be just because of the side loaded washer type and I will update this review in a few days. However I notice that clothes still smell the same even when I did use a top loader washer they do not smell I belive but their is almost a smell that suggests they are not cleaned, not a bad smell, not a chemical smell, it is difficult to explain. I also notice many stains are not removed from my clothing. I know that when I used other detergents they worked better. Maybe free and clear versions are not as strong. So I will continue testing. I would say the ingridents appear to be good, you get a lot for your money, no fragrance and I belive it does clean your clothes. So I would recommend it. Just make sure your washers are on max washing to ensure clean clothes.

I have very sensitive eczema prone skin and haven't had any issues with the prior formula. Unfortunately other brands of detergents have given me hives or made my skin itch so I'm hesitant to even try the new Purex formula and prefer Seventh Generation or the old Purex formula if I can find it. Image in light blue is old formula, new formula is darker blue. It's similar but not the same and may be fine for most people.
