Love the phone you can hear good on it. I'm glad that it has rechargable batteries instead of the normal cordless phone battery.

For us, it seemed more difficult to do the initial set-up than with our past phones. But -- once set up, they seem to be working well (so far). It's been about 2 weeks. We are satisfied at this point.

Negatives: We need easily-readable buttons and display, and this phone doesn't have those. The buttons are small and not as well lit as I'd like. When a call comes in the display shows where the call originates (ie TOWN) but not the phone number, and that's not helpful to me (I might know 20 people in Town) and when I go to check the Caller ID to return a call the lack of a displayed number bollixes me so I have to look it up elsewhere. I would have liked higher volume as well, but the phone didn't turn up so high. The handset could be improved by a rougher texture -- it was a bit slippery to hold; an arthritic hand might have problems with it. Positives: The phone was easy to set-up and it worked okay. Speech was clear. The phone looks stylish.

This is the best phone system for simplicity. I have had this system for several years and needed to add two additional handsets to the system. Buying additional handsets was expensive, so I just bought another basic set, deregistered the new handsets from the base they came with and then registered the new handsets to my old base. Worked like a charm, and now I have four handsets in my home that work off of the same base unit. These phones lack a earphone jack or pocket clip, which would make them perfect. The sound quality is really good. Highly recommended.

I have no problems hearing callers and those I call hear me clearly. Unlike the usual batteries that have a tiny plug to insert this phone uses AAA type batteries so they're easy to install. The TALK and END buttons are small so it's not always easy to find them by touch. The phone is made of a smooth plastic that sometimes slips out of my hands. It's also kind of narrow which makes it somewhat awkward to dial with one hand using a thumb. Nevertheless, the good voice quality outweighs these minor shortcomings.

I love a Panasonic purchase. Always easy to operate.

Very pleased after being a sceptic. After testing it day after day on speaker phone because customer service has been the only option for all government options and once I waited almost 5 hours on speaker phone and that battery did its job. My eyes are not the same and hate wearing glasses and the screen is easy to see and read. If and when you hear beep for low battery, charge it, do not let battery drain completely because you risk damaging battery charge for the phone. All in all very pleased with this purchase.
