Had to replace some broken spokes on the sprocket side, worked perfectly on my GMC Denali 700c road bike to remove the sunway freewheel.
The Park Tools freewheel removal tool fits over the locknuts and axle. There is no need to remove them because this tool has a very sturdy thin wall. It fits most modern freewheels, Shimano and others. l was glad to find Park Tools available through Walmart. I used their tools in professional bicycle shops, and they last for years if used properly. Thanks.
Really good tool for bicyclists with Freewheel clusters.
Used this Parkland tool to remove and replace the gear cassette on my 7 speed bicycle. Swapped the original cassette for a Shimano Megarange, also 7 speed but with an extra low gear for a boost on the hills. Any job is easier to accomplish with the correct tools, so be sure to order the Parkland tool you need for your next bicycle repair or modification. Great prices and easy ordering at Walmart.com.
Exceptionally the best!!! 100!!!
This little tool is tuff, it feels like really hard plastic metal mix. Not sure what it is made of but it worked like a charm. I'm happy to have park tool, tools that work great.
Awesome. Fit perfectly and my (damaged) rear cogs came right off! Watch a youtube to get the correct size!
Fit my need perfectly. great tool!
Worked perfect for my 29 inch Mongoose Excursion bike
I was hesitant to remove a freewheel on my bike, till I looked at the how-to videos online. It isn't hard at all. But do make sure to get the right tool for your particular type of freewheel. Not each type of freewheel remover will work for every freewheel. Park brand tools are really reliable. They also have videos to guide you step by step should you decide to make changes on your freewheel. I gave a four star review only because the price is a bit high, but then again its Park Tools the best in the business--You get what you pay for, and this tool is well worth the price. I would highly recommend it.
