Shimano Altus RD-M310 7/8-Speed Long Cage Rear Der
Good and fair mid-value Derailleur. The Shimano Altus RD-M310 7/8-Speed Long Cage Rear Derailleur is the same one that came with my 2018 Specialized Sirrus. I've ridden it hard and a lot around Seattle, rain or shine. I'd say that this derailleur is good for about 24 - 30 months if you ride long distance a few times a week. And it's inexpensive.

Very pleased with my order.
The order arrived a day ahead of scheduled delivery. The product box was a little damaged because of the soft package shipping envelope, but the product was not damaged and worked great. There were no detailed instruction, not even following the QR code link, but YouTubed how to adjust after installing and was up and running in 10 minutes.

Replacement okay so far.
Box was damaged. Product itself, spectacular. Guess I won't be able to display it on my shelf. :) Excellent derailleur, though, and shifts gorgeously. Now I can take off the old one, and try to fix it while having a spare one mounted.

Great Derailleur
Great clean shifting derailleur, the derailleur came pre lubed saving time. It came from a real bike shop in real Shimano packaging which is a nice change compared to amazon bought derailleurs.

Altus Derailleur perfect
When my Shimano Altus M310 derailleur was damaged in a serious bike crash, the replacement was easy to install and has worked flawlessly.

Authentic item?
This is not in retail packaging as one would expect from a major retailer. Shimano products are sold at retail in silver and blue containers/boxes.This was in a clear bag with nothing indicating Shimano. Plus Walmart shipped it in a plastic envelope offering no product protection.
