Finally getting my home office in order! Had to make the system easy enough for the hubby "just in case", These are great with the addition of some Manila folders and Sharpie pens! My only complaint is the cardboard inserts for the bottoms are a little flimsy...

The material is a good quality paper but I just have a regular desk file cabinet and they don't fit, they're too narrow even with the adjustable hooks .

As someone who needs a variety of research stored inside accordian files, I should've paid more attention to the product photo, where it clearly shows no extended sides (which help items not fall out). Also, instead of a reinforced-style bottom on the folders, I was very upset to receive a stack of cardboard strips that I suppose are intended to do that job, though no method to securely attach or slip in those is explained or shown. They are plain cardboard, though the file folders are colored, making an odd impression, even if it did help stabilize the product. Therefore, the file folder bottoms are as not strong as needed and these file folders really don't help anyone needing this item, except to have more capability for holding thicker files--the problem is that anything inside will most likely fall out and the folders don't appear strong enough to contain the weight of what's inside. Even if I used packing tape or some other way to attach the cardboard strips, I doubt that would work and also ruins the professional appearance for anyone storing important files. If trying to trim production costs, if you don't make the reinforced bottom and extended sides for these file folders part of the design, you make them useless, except used as a normal file folder.
