The Ryegrass Seed is so effective and working as expected. I did my Lawn Dethatching and scarifying late Oct last year and then over-seeding this Ryegrass and was surprised to see a shiny and soft green grass growth within a week. I could not do this in Front-yard and only was done in Backyard so clearly saw the difference between both yards. I would definitely recommend this if anybody wants to see the Lawn green even in Winter and also it protects the Soil..

The hill in front of my home had always been a chore to keep up. I decided to clean the hill off, use my rake to create small furrows in which to plant my Winter Rye Grass, gently cover the seeds with some top soil, and begin a regulated watering cycle. Yikes, wow! Made a crazy carpet of greenery that was insane! This stuff took off like crazy. I planted mine 2-3 times thicker than normal and the results were spectacular. I had 4 different people ask about my grass or comment on it. I didn't do anything special, just spread the seeds with a spreader. Days later, they were up and growing. My lawn was beautiful all winter. In January, I started mowing it so it would look manicured. The mowing just stimulated it to thicken up more, resulting in a carpet like quality. And the color was awesome, almost florescent! Just check out my photos below. I can't wait to plant it again!

Do what ever the instructions said and you will have a nice green grass. Take about 10 to 15 days for you can started see the grass coming out. Remember for a nice green grass you have to spend lot money in fertilizer and weed control is not only putting the seed in the ground and waiting for a miracle to happen

We buy this brand every year. There is always green grass in our yard during the fall. It grows well.

It says it is a fast growing grass seed. Not true. I put some seed down in new topsoil and watered it daily. This grass seed is barely coming out of the ground and it's been over 2 weeks. Would not buy this product again.
