I had hummingbirds for the last five years of my house and always use this product. Well, I started getting yellow jackets last summer. I used all the essential oil hacks to keep them away from the feeder and had to buy the red nectar because they were out of this product. My hummingbirds actually stopped coming for months. Got my clear nectar back again and my hummingbirds are back happy happy happy oh, they let it know that they don't like the red one for sure

Purchased with our hummingbird feeders. Im not sure what it is but these hummingbirds are crazy about this one. We have purchased different ones in the past but this one keeps them coming back for more every time and I think they bring more friends. Lol

Hummingbirds usually do not show up in my neck of the woods until mid-May. Since we had a mild winter, I decided to put some of this nectar in my feeders in mid-April. Within 24 hours, 3 hummingbirds showed up. They visit the feeders about every 15 minutes. Also attracting a lot of bees this year, but I don't mind.

I used to buy the red Humming Bird liquid, but I read that the dye was not healthy for the birds. So, I switched to the clear nectar. Although I know I can make the Hummingbird food myself with sugar and wate, I prefer to use the ready made stuff, because it generally has added vitamins, which help the females with healthy formation of their eggs. I am very happy with this product and continue to buy it on a regular basis.

The reason why I wouldn't recommend this I have put this in my hummingbird feeder. They haven't touched it one time and the reason why I bought it because of the reviews and I not very happy with the outcome. I mean it's easy there's no mixing there's nothing but my hummingbirds won't even come around the feeder because of it it doesn't seem like so. I switched back to the other stuff.e the reason why I wouldn't recommend this I have put this in my hummingbird feeder. Received two bottles of this nectar from Walmart....both bottles were cloudy!!! Cloudy liquid is an indication of either contamination or expiration of contents. Walmart continues to reject my return!!!! This product is supposed to be crystal clear...not cloudy!!!! Check out the attached image...is that crystal clear??? I have previously purchased this product from Walmart, and it was crystal clear as advertised. :-(

The nectar I received (and I purchased two large bottles) was cloudy, not clear as it usually is. I opened one of the bottles and filled up my hummingbird feeders. I have six to eight hummingbirds that visit my feeders throughout the day. Nectar has to be replenished on average three times a week. This nectar stayed in the feeder untouched for a week before being discarded. I purchased nectar from another store and it is already gone.

I have fed my little hummingbird pals for years with this nectar and have been very happy. But this last shipment was a disgrace. I received my order and it was so cloudy it looked like someone had poured milk in the bottle. I immediately dumped the entire container. I would rather lose $12.00 than kill off the little birds. I cannot believe this item passed inspection and was sent out.

This produced was cloudy and therefore tainted when it arrive. A common problem with hummingbird nectar in the summer. The only solution is to make sugar water at home.

As soon as I changed my sugar and water I had in my feeder to this food, I didn't see my hummingbirds all day. I gave it two days and still didn't see them all day. So I changed the food back to sugar and water and they all came back and I see them all day off and on. I was going to return the 3 bottles I bought, but with the hassle of what is going on in the world, I decided to just through it down the drain. My hummingbirds seem happy with my choice!!! Don't waste your money as I did.
