Pump works does not fit 1 gallon rotella jug had to rig up to work
it works ok.
Does NOT fit Mobil 1 -5 quart oil containers. came apart mid use ...
This pump was a beautiful black color, and the hose allowed fluid to flow through. It also came in packaging that was legit. You could tell because of the way that it is. I loved that the pump could go both up AND down, which enabled the suction force. Also, the hose diameter was definitely the right size for fitting on things of that exact size. If I wanted to pump something, I would use this fo sho. Except iron, I'll go to the gym for that. Also not gas, the station says no bueno senior, even though I'm not that old yet. This is also a great price compared to the stuff on Amazon, so the calculus pans out
I attempted to use this pump to refill crank case oil in my manual transmission car. The clip on the end of the hose worked really well, but after a few pumps of the gear oil, the pump began leaking fluid on the pump piston. At one point, the entire piston separated from the rest of the pump and made a terrible mess. I was able to borrow another pump to finish the job, and tossed this in the trash.
The pump was a good quality part, came with quart and gallon tubes for pumping either containers
Planned on working on the cars this weekend, topping off the antifreeze with all the heat. Pump arrived on time Saturday morning and worked just fine. Was able to top off without spilling antifreeze on the engine or garage floor.
It wouldn't screw onto any gallon container i had properly but I was able to make it work. Other than that it worked really well. I'd recommend it to anyone else needing to add fluid to a sealed transmission.
these things come in handy. ive put in thick fluids like 80-90 gear oil, brake fluid, motor oil, trans fluid, and every other fluid a car or atv uses. worth the money.
Worked flawlessly and efficiently. Would not hesitate to purchase larger volume pump if needed.
