I actually bought it because I have many plants on my lanai. Following rain or watering there is an abundance of water in each drip pan. I was tired of throwing away nutrients and water so I decided to use this product to recycle
I like the quality, ease of use and price. it is a small capacity pump. worked very well to extract brake fluid reseviour before brake bleed. worked great to extract slightly overfilled automatic transmissions fluid through fill tube(extra hose required) and finaly I drained and filled front and rear differential (rear filled only) got the job done every time although wouldn't recomend for gear oil or large fluid transfers. works great only small capacity and thicker oils harder to draw and extract.
I was surprised to feel the heft of this - it is much tougher than I expected. The plunger is strong and has a spring shock at the end of the stroke which is good for keeping you from over pulling too abruptly. The seal is good, although I did see a little 5-30 synthetic oil get past the first o-ring - that happens with most syringe-type extractors anyway. The only issue is that the tubes that came with it didn't quite fit my generator drain line, but a little tubing I had lying around solved that. I am sure it will work with almost all engine fluids without needing much adaptation. I am very pleased with it.
Good quality made, easy to use, extendable.
great extractor of old brake fluid. Cleans easily! Delivered on time
Great product, feels solid. I do recommend buying replacement O-rings before using, that way you can replace them when they're worn.
auto mechanic use
I have tried other oil extractors with little success. This one did the job and I was extremely pleased.
It worked as expected and did what I needed it to. I just wish the end of it was flat so that there isn't any leftover oil. When I was done using it, the oil had to be drained out.
does not work as advertised will not extract motor oil from a tray.
